Mana Transformation consists of two processes. The first is turning all the bones, muscles, and organs in the body into a lump of flesh and completely fusing it with one's own pure mana. The second is differentiating the lump of flesh back into bones, muscles, and various organs.
The first step is incredibly painful, but it doesn't require any operation; one only needs to endure it. The second step is exceptionally dangerous because the differentiation requires precise control of one's consciousness. A small mistake can easily lead to an error, and there is no way to reverse and start over.
Especially after just undergoing the agonizing process of forcibly dissolving one's entire body, a witch's mental state is mostly very unstable, which greatly increases the likelihood of making mistakes.
