Having heard that Qian Sisi had arrived, Bai Cheng'an chided her for not being good, and as she held the phone, she softly and gently explained that the last two classes of the afternoon had been canceled. Before Bai Cheng'an could continue lecturing her, she hung up the phone.
"Who was that?" Qian Sisi's tone aroused Shang Chi's suspicion.
Qian Sisi came up with a compromise for an answer, "Roommate!"
Shang Chi probed, "It wasn't a boy, was it?"
Qian Sisi didn't answer directly. She opened the car door, jumped out, and wrapped her coat tightly around herself, "Goodbye, Teacher Shang, I'm home now! You should head back early too, it's really cold today!"
Seeing Qian Sisi stand in the wind, Shang Chi felt it was inappropriate to ask anything further, and simply waved at her, "Hurry inside! Be careful not to catch a cold!"
Qian Sisi nodded frantically and rushed into the nearby residential building, entering the passcode to go directly inside.
