Mu Tianye lifted his face and immediately saw Ning Xiaofei's bright, shining eyes.
"Why are you crying?" He frowned.
Ning Xiaofei busied herself with wiping her face, erasing the tears, "No, no, just now a little bug flew into my eye."
She didn't want to tell him how much it hurt her!
He had said that he didn't like seeing her cry, he liked seeing her smile.
So, she tilted her face up and smiled at him.
"Husband, let me tell you a story!"
"Hmm!"
The man responded lightly, guessing the truth but not exposing it.
"A man went to sea and caught a squid. The squid didn't want to die and said, 'Please let me go?' The man said, 'Okay, but I'm going to test you with a few questions.' The squid replied, 'Ask away, any test is fine.'"
After waiting for a while without hearing her continue, Mu Tianye prompted, "And then?"
"There's no 'then' ah, the squid volunteered, so of course the fisherman had to fulfill its wish!"
Mu Tianye chuckled softly.
