Divine Favor Gauge.
This was the core mechanic behind activating Golden Paragon. The gauge would steadily deplete over time, and if it ever reached 0%, Golden Paragon would expire—immediately rendering Broken unable to use any skills and imposing several severe penalties for 48 hours.
However, the gauge could be sustained.
As long as Broken continued dealing damage, healing, or eliminating his enemies, the duration of Golden Paragon would persist. That was why, with the immense regeneration provided by Gaia and the sustained damage Broken was constantly receiving, he could prolong his Golden Paragon state for much longer.
Unless…
Frostedge stopped attacking him entirely.
If that happened, Broken would slowly lose his Golden Paragon—a dangerous gamble that could shift the entire fight.
