The door to his office swung open, and in stepped a familiar face—one he hadn't seen in months.
Yara.
The cheerful maid with short, orange hair entered with her usual bright expression.
"My Lord…" she hurried forward, standing before him.
Right behind her, another figure followed—a young elf girl with long blonde hair.
Nimue.
She was Elowen's younger sister.
"Your Majesty, King Broken," Nimue greeted formally, bowing deeply. "Welcome back to Slumdon Town."
Hearing that, Yara suddenly froze, her eyes widening. It seemed she had just realized her mistake.
"My Lord— I mean— Your Majesty! I-I'm so sorry!" Yara panicked, immediately dropping to her knees before Broken.
"Forgive me, I—uh—King—ah—Your Majesty—I forgot—please forgive me! I'm not used to it yet!" she stammered.
Broken chuckled, watching her flustered reaction.
Yara had always been like this—awkward, clumsy, and completely unsure how to act around him.
