Carefully and making sure she would not wake him, Shikera tried to shift his head away from her naked chest where he had evidently made himself comfortable. Even without checking, she could tell from the warmth beneath the blanket that the both of them were naked.

Now that she was sitting up, she saw that she was wearing a shirt, only that it was not buttoned at all, while Ethan wasn't wearing anything. Instead of climbing out of bed, she laid down sideways, resting her chin on her palm as she studied his face.
He looked tired...and defenceless, his facial nerves relaxed and making him seem younger than he already looked. Biting nervously on her lower lips, she lifted her index finger up to his face, tracing his eyebrows down to his nose.
"Is this artificial?" she whispered, rubbing the ridge of his nose like one trying to pet a puppy. Her eyes moved further down to his lips, lingering on them for a while before moving downwards to his Adam's apple.
