Destiny's POV
I could feel the excruciating pain all over my torso, and I tried moving my hands when I heard voices, but I could hardly move my finger. I am not sure if I am still alive or I am already dead.
I heard Hallie's voice whispering sweet thoughts in my ear as I heard her sobbing. I wished to open my eyes and see her lovely face. Daria was saying sorry to me, and she was crying too, and now I am sure I am dead. They would not be saying sorry if I am still alive.
Then there was his voice—Red's sweet, sexy voice. The sweet nothings he murmured in my ear were like lullabies and played like a playlist in my trance. I was in a deep hollow, wishing to wake up and see his beautiful, perfect face. But I couldn't even feel my tears as they trickled from my eyes.
I was waiting for the angels to come and get me. I felt like I was in a dark abyss since I could see a light waning from the distance. My loved ones' voices were the only thing keeping me from drowning in the darkness.
