Nora did not wait for her uncle to answer. Looking at the disbelief and shock in his eyes, she only smiled and shook her head.
"Another time then." her voice had a hint of pity in it that made Sophia's blood boil. She wanted to teach the girl a lesson. But she was aware of the eyes that were seeing her. So when Nora pulled her hands away, Sohpia had to let go of her.
Nora nodded at the peon and then left the administration building with hurried steps. She went straight to her class.
The teacher was explaining about trigonometry. A tree and a man were made on the board and they had to calculate the degree of angle.
Nora opened her eyes and started writing. Before the teacher would complete the diagram she had already solved the question and was looking at Alex now. He was sitting on the left corner of the room just a seat away from her. She could hold his hand if she wanted to without being noticed by anyone. His eyes were closed and he was leaning on the wall for support.
