"...." Nora waited for the reply. Her hands were sweaty as she waited for him to respond.
"Say that again." looking at the disbelief on his face, she collected her courage.
"I like you, Alric."
"Louder!" he held her hands tightly and asked in a desperate voice.
"Alric!"
"Please!" she shook her head. She was not even professing her love. She was not promising that she couldn't live without him. It was a simple i like you, yet he was behaving like this.
"If you continue like this, I will not love you anymore." she looked away with feigning anger.
But Alric pulled her in his arms and did not let go. Just then they heard a lot of vehicles beeping and blaring.
"Honk! Honk." The signal had turned green a long time ago. A large number of vehicles had been collected and a traffic jam had formed on a rather empty road.
