"Beg her?" the words sunned Priscilia. Her face went red instantly and she gritted her teeth. "Over my dead body!" never! She would neve bow her head in front of Nora.
Alric shrugged, not at all surprised by her attitude. But the vicious glint in his eyes told Nora, he would not let priscilla go without begging.
"Suit yourself." Priscilia;s chest was heaving with rage. Gritting her teeth, she turned to the left. The man would regret later and then she would be the one laughing. She would return with videos next time. But before she could step out of the door, he called for her again.
"But the moment you leave, I will destroy your son." the woman froze. Her left foot in the mid air. "He would end up in jail for fraud. And all the assets belonging to him would be seized by the taxation dept." all the color drained from her face but when she looked at him, he seemed to be leisurely playing with Nora's hair.
The look of adoration on his face did not match his cold words at all.
