Stepping beyond the grand doors, Luke was immediately struck by the sheer scale of Virencia's architecture. The city stretched far and wide, but more than that—it stretched upward. Towering structures, interconnected bridges, and intricate stonework layered one above the other, giving the entire city a sense of depth and grandeur, unlike anything he had seen in this world so far.
Commander Alec led them toward a set of wide stone staircases carved into the foundation of the city. The Knights' Quarters were built on the lowest level, closest to the outer walls, making them the first line of defence in case of an invasion. From here, Luke could already see glimpses of the bustling streets above—colourful banners swaying, merchants calling out, and citizens moving between levels with ease.
