The death of Prometheus.
It symbolized the exit of the Celestial Realm.
"..."
In that moment.
All the gods seemed to fall into a stunned silence. None of them had expected such an outcome. That the Celestial Realm would be eliminated in such a dramatic fashion was beyond anyone's imagination.
But!
The fact had already occurred. Whether they believed it or not, it was now reality, and nothing could change that.
At the same time!
The Celestial Realm!
Endless thunder covered the entire Celestial Realm, symbolizing the wrath of its emperor. The terrifying lightning seemed as though it was going to destroy everything, shrouding the entire realm in anger.
Of course.
Zeus wasn't crazy. At the very least, he still had some sense. He wasn't about to destroy the entire Celestial Realm out of sheer rage, was he?
All the subordinate gods in the Celestial Realm trembled in fear at the sight of the endless lightning, sensing just how terrifying Zeus's fury was. Each of them was tense and on edge.
Eris, on the other hand, allowed a slight smile to briefly touch her lips, though it quickly vanished. She, too, bowed her head in fear of drawing attention to herself.
Clearly!
Eris knew something. She could tell that things were not as they seemed. At the very least, the alliance between the Underworld and the Sea Realm should have been impossible. Yet it had happened.
So!
This meant that something interesting had occurred—something the others were unaware of.
"Hehehe..."
"What is it exactly?"
"How intriguing! My dear brother teaming up with the Sea Realm?"
"No, no!"
"It's not just that. I suspect this is a show orchestrated by the Underworld, Sea Realm, and Celestial Realm together. That makes it even more interesting. His Majesty must know about this, and surely the Sea Emperor knows as well."
"What a pity…"
Eris pondered these developments, her eyes flickering with a hint of mockery.
It was evident!
The only one truly in the dark here was likely the emperor of the Celestial Realm—Zeus. He was the only one unaware, while the other two parties knew everything. This made things all the more intriguing.
In the Holy War between the three realms.
Ultimately!
The sides involved likely knew the real situation, and perhaps even a third party was secretly involved. If so, wasn't it fascinating that one side remained completely hidden in the shadows?
Of course.
Eris had no intention of revealing her thoughts. Instead, she quietly kept herself out of sight, with no desire to expose her suspicions. She simply found it amusing. As for the truth of the matter? The future would reveal all in time.
However!
Eris was a clever goddess. From this vantage point, she could tell that the Celestial Realm was about to undergo significant changes. Zeus was entirely unaware, completely isolated by the machinations of the Underworld and the Sea Realm.
It was even possible.
That Prometheus himself had also kept Zeus in the dark. Eris, with her ability to see from multiple perspectives, could observe things others could not.
And because of that, the situation became even more interesting.
Eris's original plans had already begun to show signs of success. Now, new ideas were forming in her mind. She wondered whether her schemes could truly come to fruition.
Of course!
This plan was still in its infancy. She couldn't rush things. Whether or not it would succeed, who could say?
In any case!
Eris knew not to rush or be impatient. She simply needed to let everything unfold gradually. Before anything else, she still needed to confirm many things.
"The Celestial Realm!"
"Zeus!"
"It seems…"
"Things are getting more and more interesting in the Celestial Realm!"
Eris's thoughts raced. Her ideas were growing bolder. But quickly, she withdrew from the scene. It was better not to overthink things, especially at a time like this. She understood that there was no need to hurry—she had time.
The waters of the Celestial Realm were becoming increasingly murky, visible even to the naked eye. Given that.
Then!
Eris's mind was already buzzing with more schemes. It was undeniable that she was a goddess filled with immense confidence and terrifying ambition.
Like her brothers and sisters, Eris was absolutely loyal to the Lord of the Underworld. However! That didn't mean she lacked her own ambitions.
Clearly!
Eris had many ideas, and what would become of them?
Hehehe...
Who knew? No one knew how things would turn out. But one thing was certain—the events to come would indeed be very interesting.
Eris would be ready for whatever came next.
In the Celestial Realm!
Inside the temple!
Endless bolts of lightning crackled, while Zeus's eyes were filled with extreme rage. That fury seemed ready to obliterate everything in its path.
At this moment.
Zeus was suppressing his anger. He couldn't unleash it on the Celestial Realm.
No matter what, the Holy War had already been lost. And since they had lost, Zeus knew that no matter how much he raged, it would be meaningless.
If he continued, he would only make himself look more foolish.
Aside from his paranoia and arrogance, Zeus was a competent god-king in many respects. But those two traits were the most troublesome.
For a god.
Time was stretched infinitely long, and even a slight weakness could lead to enormous problems. Let alone the fact that Zeus's issues were already glaringly apparent.
If these weren't handled properly, the consequences in the future could be dire.
"Hmph!"
Zeus let out a cold snort, his voice low and chilling. "Hades, Poseidon—fine! Fine! Fine! You've played your game well. Truly impressive!"
Zeus had never imagined that the Holy War, which had just begun and was still in the testing phase, would end like this.
The result!
The Underworld and the Sea Realm had chosen to ally and completely crush the Celestial Realm. This was something Zeus never anticipated. But it had happened, and now, whether or not he expected it no longer mattered.
