This was no joke.
It was a fact!
As an Ancient God, Tartarus could clearly sense that in the Mythical World, there was no favoritism, only the suppression of every Ancient God.
To put it bluntly, after leaving the Underworld, Tartarus wasn't even sure if he still had the power to defeat Hades. Such was the suppression of the Mythical World.
The Mythical World had no emotions, no intelligence.
It functioned more like a machine operating in perfect order, without even the complexity of an AI. Its sole purpose was to maintain the natural progression of events as preordained.
But now?
What Gaia had done could be said to have deviated from the original course of the Mythical World. If things were normal, following the world's natural will, any other being—even someone like Cronus or Hades—would have undoubtedly faced certain death.
However, Gaia was different. Gaia was the Creator God, the one who had truly built the Mythical World from scratch. Under these circumstances, Gaia held a unique status.
Gaia was a favored deity, and this fact was undeniable. In the Mythical World, her position was extraordinarily special. Even if the world itself wanted to act against her, it simply couldn't.
Because of this, Gaia's situation was extraordinarily unique, and her actions, although disapproved by the Mythical World, could only be mildly restricted. There was nothing more the world could do, a reality that couldn't be changed.
There was no denying it!
After all, the facts were clear. How could this be dealt with? Obviously, it was an unchangeable reality.
But.
For the Mythical World, Gaia's actions had caused the Ancient Gods to bear the consequences. All of them were subject to massive restrictions, an immense suppression.
This was precisely why Tartarus was so dissatisfied.
Who would willingly be trapped at home? Normally, Tartarus wouldn't have cared. But now? Gaia had effectively locked him in his own home.
Would he be happy about that?
He could choose to stay home voluntarily, but being forced to do so was another matter entirely. No one would willingly accept such arbitrary confinement.
What a joke!
No matter how you looked at it, from any angle, Tartarus was unwilling to accept this.
But as with many things, whether you want it or not, it's an unchangeable fact, something unavoidable.
There was no choice.
The problem was right in front of him, and no one could change it. This was fate.
"..."
Gaia remained calm as she faced Tartarus, maintaining her gentle demeanor as an Ancient God. She said, "This is only a temporary matter, Tartarus. You should understand very well why I am doing this."
Hearing Gaia's words, Tartarus fell silent.
He couldn't deny it.
Tartarus understood very well what Gaia intended to do. He was fully aware of her motives, and there was no doubt about it.
And it was precisely because of this that Tartarus could sense Gaia's terrifying power.
This was the terror of the first Ancient God, revered as the Creator God. Gaia's actions, her ambitions—these were things that would terrify even an ordinary god, let alone an Ancient God.
It wasn't something that could be explained with mere words.
Even Ancient Gods...
They had to acknowledge this: compared to Gaia, their own power was simply on a different level. There was no comparison.
Gaia remained composed throughout, her gaze fixed on Tartarus, her eyes filled with boundless tranquility.
The more calm she appeared, the more it confirmed the sheer magnitude of the action this Earth Goddess was planning.
"Sigh..."
Tartarus sighed softly but then spoke calmly, "Gaia, what exactly do you want to do?"
Tartarus knew he couldn't refuse Gaia. It wasn't because of any other reason, but because of a significant debt he owed her—a favor that weighed heavily on him.
This favor was the key issue.
Tartarus knew that if Gaia had come to him today, it meant that he had no choice. Today's events were unavoidable, and Gaia wouldn't allow him to refuse.
There was no doubt about it.
Listening to Tartarus, Gaia spoke softly, "Tartarus, what I ask of you isn't a difficult thing."
"Go ahead."
Tartarus wasn't swayed by Gaia's words. Not difficult?
Ha.
Tartarus wasn't a fool, and certainly not a child. Who would believe that? Did Gaia herself even believe it?
In any case...
In Tartarus's eyes, Gaia's words were laughable, as though she were telling a joke.
Gaia continued, "From Uranus, to Cronus, to Hades, Poseidon, Zeus, and Athena, the Mythical World is designed to give birth to seven God-Kings."
"Uranus, Cronus, and Abel are the three generations of true God-Kings. They represent the fundamental essence of God-Kings and are the original rulers."
"Hades, Poseidon, Zeus, and Athena represent the four God-Kings of the underworld, sea, heavens, and earth."
"Mm."
Tartarus nodded. These things, though hidden, were known to the Ancient Gods.
Suddenly, Tartarus guessed Gaia's insane idea.
Sure enough!
Gaia then said, "I want to create a new God-King!"
