Nagato stood by the window, staring blankly at the falling rain outside.
In the next second, Shishou appeared beside him and asked, "How do you feel?"
Since Konan went to the Genesis Space to practice senjutsu, the task of overseeing the Akatsuki organization fell to Shishou. To avoid the workload, he decided to have Nagato take charge again. However, this time, Shishou didn't give Nagato the Rinnegan but instead left part of the Rinnegan's power within Nagato, allowing him to control the Deva Path and manage the Akatsuki.
After Shishou killed Uchiha Obito and the others, Konan informed the entire Akatsuki organization about this, leading to the members becoming extremely obedient, not daring to act out of line.
Nagato shook his head, "It's manageable. Kakuzu and Shinno haven't noticed anything."
Though the power Shishou gave him only allowed control over the Deva Path, it was enough to suppress the other Akatsuki members.
Hearing this, Shishou nodded and continued, "How about the person I asked you to find? That guy named Hidan."
It wasn't until Shishou started preparing to deal with the Otsutsuki clan that he remembered Hidan, a former Akatsuki member. He was curious to see if Hidan's Death Controlling Possessed Blood could harm the Otsutsuki clan, so he had Nagato send Kakuzu to find him.
Nagato replied, "Kakuzu is already looking for him. It shouldn't be long before we find him."
"That's good," Shishou said, placing a hand on Nagato's shoulder to transfer some Rinnegan power before disappearing.
Nagato watched the spot where Shishou had vanished and sighed.
Shishou's current power left Nagato with no thoughts of rebellion. All he could do was follow orders and hope that Shishou's methods would indeed bring peace.
"Hope you truly can bring peace..." Nagato murmured, turning his gaze back to the window.

Mount Myoboku.
Swish!
A figure flashed.
Shishou appeared on the highest peak of Mount Myoboku. Looking at the transformed landscape below, he nodded in satisfaction.
Mount Myoboku, under Raiko's transformation, had changed drastically from a frog habitat to a snake den. Large snakes with abundant senjutsu energy could be seen everywhere.
It was time to harvest the first wave of chakra.
"Master," Raiko flew to Shishou's side and bowed respectfully. She wore a form-fitting red dress that accentuated her voluptuous figure, revealing a deep cleavage as she bent, her delicate makeup and perfectly styled white hair adding to her allure.
Glancing at Raiko, Shishou asked, "How's the chakra collection going?"
Like in Genesis Space, Shishou had Raiko regularly collect chakra from the snakes in Mount Myoboku to accelerate the growth of the Divine Tree.
It had been nearly six months since Tsunade and the others went to Genesis Space, and Shishou found himself missing them.
So, he decided to gather chakra from the three major senjutsu lands before visiting Tsunade, Mikoto, and the others.
Seeing Shishou's attention return to her, Raiko pursed her lips and said, "The collection is almost complete. Please follow me."
Under Raiko's lead, Shishou soon arrived at a massive, rune-covered formation. One by one, snakes of various sizes slithered into the center of the formation, injecting part of their chakra.
Watching this, Shishou raised an eyebrow.
Raiko had indeed done well, getting the snakes to voluntarily hand over their chakra, effectively turning the formation into an automated chakra harvesting machine.
Shishou looked at Raiko in surprise and asked, "How did you manage this?"
He realized that Raiko had an impressive ability to adapt and learn. In just a few years under Orochimaru's tutelage, she had transformed completely into a scientist.
Raiko beamed with pride and explained, "I implanted a psychological suggestion in the snake kings. With their lead, the other snakes followed suit. After a few generations, voluntarily offering chakra became an instinct for the snakes of Mount Myoboku."
Hearing Raiko's explanation, Shishou nodded slightly.
If he could apply this method to the animals in Genesis Space, it would greatly increase the efficiency of chakra harvesting, accelerating the growth of the Divine Tree.
Thinking of this, Shishou said, "Well done. In a few days, you will accompany me to teach this method to others."
"Yes, Master," Raiko replied respectfully.
Shishou then approached the chakra collection formation and absorbed all the chakra stored within.
After studying the principles behind Raiko's chakra storage seal, Shishou vanished again to visit Ryuchi Cave and Shikkotsu Forest to continue collecting chakra.
Watching Shishou leave, Raiko felt a pang of disappointment.
Today, she had deliberately dressed seductively, hoping to entice her master. Ever since being branded with Shishou's curse mark, Raiko, unwilling to remain a servant forever, had been trying to seduce him, aiming to elevate her status. However, no matter how she tried, Shishou remained unmoved, leaving Raiko feeling increasingly discouraged.
Returning to her room, Raiko stood before the mirror, examining her body.
Her figure was slim yet voluptuous, her face delicate yet alluring. Why didn't her master like her?
Turning in front of the mirror, Raiko pondered this. Her current appearance was captivating even to herself, so why didn't it appeal to her master?
Could it be that her master didn't like this style?
With these thoughts, Raiko removed her dress, lay on her bed, and picked up a fashion magazine to study its contents. Having resolved to seduce her master, she intended to see it through.
In the next moment, Shishou reappeared in Raiko's room.
Seeing Raiko's nearly naked body and the magazine in her hand, Shishou was momentarily stunned, not expecting Raiko to have such a human side.
Raiko looked up at Shishou in astonishment.
Shishou disappeared again, leaving behind a single instruction.
"Put on some clothes and come with me."
Reflecting on her master's reaction, Raiko's lips curled into a slight smile.
She then got up, dressed, and left her room.
As soon as she stepped out, Shishou grabbed her, and they vanished together.
