The project was supposed to support the elderly Hunters who awakened armed with the skill to cultivate crops that could boost a Hunter's Mana.
However, Dr. Sung Gowoon was a crazy woman.
The lunatic doctor wasn't happy that only the elderly awakened on Nami Island, so she started a human experiment where she tried to pass down the elderly Hunters' skills to their young relatives.
Of course, the experiment was a failure.
As a result, innocent people like Gyubin and Grandma Kim suffered and even contracted a terminal disease.
