Chapter 36 - He That Stole Terran Talents

"There that should be the correct calculations of the equation that you were getting wrong in your theories of how to return living matter to its solid state after you began the transportation process." The female Vordonian said to the head scientist as I saw her point out the differences between the two equations.

"I would have never thought that it was space that was moving in this case. I guess that makes sense now that I think as to why we were able to do this across a planet but not when we were in space. This turns all the principles and rules of astro physics on their head.

Thank you very much for showing me this." The head scientist said kindly to her as I saw her give her a bow out of respect.

"Can this do what I want it to?" I asked the two of them since I knew that we had to hurry.

"Yes, but the issue is that because this was rushed in piecing together, I estimate that you will most likely not be able to return to the ship by this means." The Vordonian said in a very serious tone as she looked up from the tablet that she had put the correct equation in.

"Then we will need to get ready for the transport ships to bring us back as the cyborg mothership is falling apart." I told her to calm her down.

I then made my way to one of the teleporters and began to speak to all the warriors again.

"We will be going in two groups. The first group of people will be the only one consisting of female warriors. They will be tasked with saving all the Vordonians. This strike team will be led by the Vordonian that is here with us. My group will consist of the other two warrior groups. They will be charged with the mission of both saving my team members and defeating the cyborg commander that oversees the ship.

If any of you have any problem with being led by a female Vordonian, then you can take it up with me after we are done with this mission."

"Okay I will need the first team to stand on this platform so that I can begin the teleportation process to the cyborg mothership." The female head scientist said.

"You heard her loud and clear. The first group who will go will be the female group." I said to the warriors.

After I gave them the instructions, the squad that consisted entirely of female warriors walked to where the head scientist was so that they could begin the transportation process.

As they all began to group up on one of the teleportation pads, the female scientist placed wires on their temples that had a small and steady electronic charge that was going from a generator to their heads. Then, the female scientist grabbed the female Vordonian and put the wires on her.

"Now whenever you get to the end of your trip to the cyborg ship, please activate this communicator". I said to the female Vordonian as I handed her a communicator.

"I will begin the teleporting process on your command," the female scientist said to me as soon as she had finished punching a certain amount of data into her tablet.

"I wish you the best of luck on your mission objective. For the glory of The Terran Collective." I said to them as I saluted them. "You may to activate the transport pad".

As soon as I spoke, I saw that the bottom of the teleportation pads began to glow white as it began to power up. Then, the room began to suddenly dim as if the teleporters were drawing the required energy that it needed to function from the ship.

A few seconds later, they vanished from sight, and the lights turned back on as soon as they left the ship.

Then there was nothing but silence for a bit that made me feel uneasy. Did I lead those people to their deaths on a crazy theory that I had, or did I make history today with the help of a female Vordonian that I had not even known for twenty-four hours.

"We have made it onto the cyborg ship. Our experiment was successful at bringing the female Terran strike force and myself to the cyborg mothership." The female Vordonian said on my communicator.

"The transportation was successful. Now that we know it works, I want the rest of us to get ready to make the journey to the cyborg mothership." I told everyone as I rose my right fist to increase the morale of the warriors that were going to be under me.

As they started to cheer in excitement, I told the man who was supposed to lead the fleet in my absence to have a set of transport ships that can bring the captured people from the cyborg mothership to here when we got done with the objective of defeating the leader of the cyborg invasion force that we are currently at battle with.

Then I made my way back to the portal and nodded at the female scientist letting her know that it was time to teleport me along with the people that were going to be under my command until I save Trent from the cyborgs.

As the machine turned on, I felt the electricity that was in my body beginning to engulf me entirely, which made me feel very uneasy. The pain that I felt shortly vanished from within me, and only a few moments later, I was becoming solid and inside the cyborg mothership.

The inside of the ship was very simple and blandly designed in the shape of a square. This was a cyborg ship that I was on because our record of their vessels showed that they were all made of simple geometric shapes.

"Is everyone here in one piece after being transported here?" I asked everyone as I looked at all the people that were around me.

"Yes, sir, we are all here. I have had a head count, and everybody has made onto the enemy mothership." One of the young male warriors said to me as soon as I asked my question.

"Okay then everybody, you are going to have to move out. We must go and look for the cyborg commander".

I walked down the hallway, ignoring all the side hallways until I was in front of a massive metal double door that was in between me and what I could begin to hear around me.

As I opened the door that was in front of me, I saw that I was stepping into a room that had a glass floor beneath me where I saw a set of massive wires that led to a huge metal chair where I saw a cyborg sitting there with his eyes powered off as if he did not care that we were here.

The room was barely lit up by the dim lights that were hanging from the ceiling. They were small circular orbs that barely let out any light.

"Well, it seems that we have been infested by a group of human roaches. I command all of you to purge this Terrans from my ship, but try to minimize the damage to their bodies that you can. The more naturally preserved their bodies are, the greater the use they will be to me." The cyborg said as I saw him rise from his massive chair and activate his robotic eyes that were a dark and unnatural red.

As he stepped down from his chair, I saw that while most of his body was covered in a black metal, the stomach and chest area was covered in bulky white Terran flesh.

Then, I saw a set of six advanced combat robots drop from the ceiling and stood in between me and the cyborg leader.

"It does not matter what that you think that you can do because I am just born as a member of a clearly superior race in comparison to you, Terrans." He said as he started to walk closer to us.

I felt a sudden rush of familiarity as I saw that the cyborg became almost entirely enveloped in an aura that was almost exactly a visual match to the aura that I was getting William.

How could this be because I thought that William would be with the prisoners that the female Vordonian was tasked with finding.

"What is your name cyborg?" I asked him as I pointed my dual scythes at him so that I would know that I had the intention to kill him. "I have always wanted to try and get to know the names of my enemies before I kill them."

"Well, if you must know, my name is Jax. I am not a typical cyborg that works under the queen. I am the leader of a new type of cyborg that thinks very differently from those who are bound to serve the queen." He said to me as I saw him staring at all of us.

"Then Jax, you can begin the countdown to your death. To minimize the number of deaths that we must suffer, I challenge you to one-on-one combat."

"I suppose that you will be amusing things to play with for the time being. In the end, you will die by my hand either way." He said to me as he laughed at what I had asked him to do.

After he spoke, I saw that all the robotic warriors stepped aside and formed a semi-circle behind Jax.

"Remember that I will be fighting him alone. If any of you get involved with my fight, I will make sure that you do not ever get any good work ever again." I told all the people that were here with me.

"In the end, it does not matter what you want them to do. I will prove that any being that is purely made of flesh is always weaker than those of us who are a hybrid of machine and flesh." He said to me as his right arm changed from the shape of a hand into the shape of a longsword that was made of a black metal that matched the machine part of his body.

I started to swing both of my dual scythes in front of me as I ran at him trying to maintain a constant flow of electric energy that was coming from the elemental stones on the hilts of my melee weapons.

Jax swung at me, and his sword bounced off my barrier as soon as it made contact.

Then I canceled my momentum and rushed at him in a set of swift thrusts that were aimed at the upper area of his chest.

When the weapons contacted the flesh, it was cleanly cut diagonally across, and a small amount of blood started to pour from it. only a few drops of blood made it from the cut before I saw that the injury started to heal itself. As the flesh was healed, it became covered in a dark purple aura that felt unnatural for me to see that happening to a cyborg.

I chose to continue my flurry of attacks at the organic part of his body. As soon as the cuts were made, they were being healed as if they had never been made. The sight of this cyborg constantly healing made me fear what he could also do.

"This does not make sense to me. The last time I checked cyborgs did not have any ability to regenerate their flesh". I stated to him out of shock at what I had just seen.

"Well, if you must know what it is that makes me a cut above the rest of the cyborgs that serve our queen, then I will do better than just tell you."

As soon as he spoke, I saw that the entire room began to light up and I saw that on both sides of the chair that he had been previously sitting in he had three different glass containers that had different Terrans floating in a green liquid that was inside of it. the containers also had a small metal antenna on them.

"If you can not tell, I have found a way to capture Terrans and channel their talents to augment myself. This is proof of my race's superiority to yours." He said to me as he walked towards me with his left fist enveloped in an aura of fire.

Then I heard a quick burst of ammunition rush past me to my left, and it shattered the antennas that were above the containers.

"Since he has an edge in this dual, I thought that I would take away the edge." A female voice said to me from behind me.

"If you think that I need those Terrans to kill you, then you are very mistaken." He said as he threw the fire enhanced punch at me, which knocked me back against the massive double door that I used to enter the room.

"Okay if you want me to get serious, then I will. Now, I will be activating my talent. I am going to warn you that this talent is unlike any of the other Terran talents that you have ever seen. Full Body Cellular Regeneration!"

"I will let you know what you can have the first stab at me, but if you waste it…"

He punched me in the gut with the flaming punch. As the punch contacted my gut, I noticed that the pain was only active for a few seconds. After the pain ended, the hole began to heal itself, and it began to look as though it had never been broken.

"As I said, if you don't make it count, then you will regret it." I then went after his sword and clashed with him.

Then, I activated my main healing talent as soon as my left hand contacted his flesh. This caused his entire body to be filled with a dark energy that spread through both the part of it that were machine as well as the flesh part as a type of biological virus.

As soon as he fell apart, the ship began to crumble around me. The advance combat units also fell apart as soon as his body hit the floor into a pile of junk.

"Let us save all the Terrans from these capsules. We will not leave one of them behind." I told the people that were with me.

After that, we saved all of them and made our way to the area where there were some ships waiting for our arrival.

This mission had taken a lot of lives for us to succeed, but it was finally done and hopefully I had done as that message from the future had wanted me to do with the information that I had been given.
