Hyuga's Hidden History
The heart of the Land of Fire, the most prosperous region, was now engulfed in flames of war.
Meanwhile, Izuna was still investigating Black Zetsu's connections to the Hyuga Clan.
Deep within the ancient records of the Hyuga clan, he found something unexpected.
A Strange Relocation
One particular passage caught his eye:
"The ancestors of the Hyuga clan originally lived in the eastern center of the Land of Fire. However, at some point, they were forced to relocate to the southern region. Later, due to unknown reasons, a large portion of the clan mysteriously vanished. The current Hyuga are the remnants of that event."
To most people, this record might seem vague and meaningless.
But to Izuna, who knew the Naruto storyline, this was a huge clue.
Ties to the Otsutsuki
Izuna immediately connected this to the history of Otsutsuki Hagoromo (Sage of Six Paths) and Otsutsuki Hamura.
After sealing Kaguya, Hagoromo split the Ten-Tails into the nine-tailed beasts to prevent its resurrection.
He then sent the Gedo Statue (Ten-Tails' husk) to the Moon, leaving it in the care of his younger brother, Hamura.
Hamura relocated his people to the Moon, creating a separate Otsutsuki faction.
However, not all of Hamura's people left Earth—the ones who remained became the Hyuga Clan.
This left Izuna with one pressing question:
Why was the Hyuga Clan forced to move in the first place?
If the Hyuga were Hamura's descendants, then why didn't they remain alongside the Uchiha and Senju, who were Hagoromo's descendants?
What was so special about their original land?
A dark thought crossed Izuna's mind.
"Could Black Zetsu have ties to the Otsutsuki on the Moon?"
He had always assumed that Black Zetsu was solely Kaguya's will, but...
Did he have a connection to the Hyuga's lost land?
Was there something hidden there that Kaguya's will wanted?
Why did Hyuga's records mysteriously stop before explaining the full story?
Unfortunately, the records were too vague, offering no concrete answers.
But one thing was clear—
Hyuga's relocation was no coincidence.
Just as Izuna was piecing everything together, the memories of his Shadow Clones flooded his mind.
Outside, Hyuga guards were assembling.
He immediately tossed aside the scrolls and activated Flying Thunder God, teleporting out of the city.
After escaping from Hyuga's territory, Izuna returned to the Uchiha-Senju war camp, where the battle situation had changed drastically.
Despite their initial losses, the Uchiha and Senju forces were now showing signs of unity.
Before Izuna, Madara, and Hashirama fully joined the battle, the Three-Clan Alliance was dominating.
Their numbers advantage gave them momentum.
Nara led the war with low-risk guerrilla tactics, forcing Uchiha-Senju into defensive fights.
Byakugan scouts ensured the enemy's movements were always tracked.
But gradually, under Madara and Hashirama's leadership, something unexpected happened.
The Uchiha and Senju began working together.
Uchiha's Genjutsu, Fire Release, and Sharingan tactics meshed with
Senju's versatile ninjutsu, medical skills, and logistical expertise.
The result?
Their casualties dropped dramatically.
Three Months Later
At first, Uchiha and Senju ninjas argued constantly.
There were even fights in the war camp.
Eventually, Madara and Hashirama stepped in—
"If anyone starts another fight, they're getting thrown in prison."
Even Hashirama, usually kind-hearted, was furious.
This finally forced both sides to cooperate.
Reviewing the War's Progress
In the main war tent, the three leaders sat together.
Hashirama, holding a casualty report, read out the numbers.
First month:
224 Uchiha casualties
178 Senju casualties
24 Hatake casualties
Second month:
126 Uchiha casualties
114 Senju casualties
Third month:
85 Uchiha casualties
72 Senju casualties
Madara nodded approvingly.
"The results are better than expected."
Even he couldn't deny—
The cooperation was working.
But Hashirama's expression darkened.
"Even so… we've still lost so many comrades…"
The Uchiha-Senju army started with 2,500 fighters.
Even though their recent losses were low, every death weighed heavily on him.
Izuna sighed.
"Peace is always built on sacrifice."
Then, his voice turned cold.
"Besides, don't celebrate too soon. Once the war ends, Senju and Uchiha could become enemies again."
Hashirama's shoulders slumped, looking devastated.
Madara rolled his eyes.
"Great. His depression is back."
Izuna ignored them.
He stared at the war map, voice firm.
"The war is nearly over. Let's finish this before the New Year."
