"Who came just now?"
Ye Xiao was awakened by the noise at the door and then heard Qiao Si's angry voice. She sleepily opened her eyes, her voice soft and groggy from sleep.
"The dog was scratching at the door, so I scolded it and sent it away. You continue to sleep, I'll go make you breakfast."
Qiao Si pulled back the covers to get out of bed.
Ye Xiao turned and hugged Qiao Si's waist.
"I don't want to eat breakfast."
Ye Xiao inhaled his scent greedily, realizing that a man's scent could be so pleasant.
"Then I'll lie with you for another five minutes."
Qiao Si lay back down on the bed reluctantly, holding her in his arms.
"Why do you have a phobia of dirt?"
Ye Xiao remembered how quickly Qiao Si had rushed to the bathroom the night before; she even thought she saw panic in his eyes for a moment. What was he afraid of?
"It's nothing, I just feel unclean," he said.
A shadow of melancholy flickered across Qiao Si's eyes.
