The June summer breeze gently blew, causing the white curtains in the room to occasionally lift and fall. Not far away on the floor, a black-haired girl lay napping on a large mat, with the sunlight that sometimes peeked through the curtains falling beside her, casting a glow that made her face clear.
Time flowed quietly, and the sunlight was exceptionally tranquil in the lightly wafting summer breeze. Occasionally, the chatter and laughter from the distance outside could be faintly heard, like fragments of cherished memories.

The wooden hanging clock opened, and the sleeping White Kite was pushed out, then descended. This bird was about the size of a hen, with a few white crest feathers sticking up, quite lovely.
It flapped its wings, first landing on the table and then flying down in front of the girl. After pacing back and forth a few times, it tried to tug at her clothes, making the sleeping girl open her eyes.
