General Hawke: "Of course, they would calm down. Regroup the troops, restore the formation, and prepare for a counterattack. All idle staff at the Headquarters, form pairs with a driver, collect information from the retreating soldiers for me.
"I need to know what happened last night, how it happened, and why, overnight, I had to move from the comfortable occupying forces Headquarters to this dilapidated house."
With that, General Hawke looked up at the ceiling of the new Headquarters.
The house's walls were made of brick and stone, but the roof was wood, typical of Melania farmhouses.
