Pei Sheng had a strong grip on the rack; indeed, he couldn't be pried away.

Xu Shuo walked past him, turned around heading into the stairwell, and even started to close the rooftop door, preparing to lock it.

Xu Shuo was about to tease him with a couple of remarks when, out of the corner of his eye, he suddenly caught a glimpse of the brocade pouch peeking out of his pocket. His gaze paused, and he suddenly reached out and yanked the brocade pouch out.
Pei Sheng had just squeezed into the stairwell after opening the door and hadn't recovered when his vision blurred.
"Hmm? What are you taking?"
He focused his gaze and, realizing what it was, subconsciously reached for his own pocket: "Why are you taking my brocade pouch?"
