The Western Continent and The North are adjacent to each other.
But if one takes the normal trade route, it would take about ten or so days to reach The North. However, if one crosses directly through the Amiciya Mountains that span between the two lands, the time can be reduced by more than half.
The journey on the first day was very calm. The Mercenary Corps kept a low profile, and even when they passed fortresses, they did not stay too long, only stopping briefly for a rest.
And on this day, there was not a trace of pursuit from either the black dragon or the Holy Court's army.
This allowed Sola to slowly relax her tense nerves. Even though she still didn't sleep very well at night, at least she rested more comfortably than before.
Finally, there were no more midnight attacks!
The next morning, the team stopped at the foot of White Wolf Peak.
They needed to enter the Amiciya Mountains from here.
However, the team paused for a half-hour rest.
