A young girl bowed and walked into an office.
Several professionals brushed past her, hurrying away.
Behind her, another group of professionals quietly awaited their turn to be summoned.
"Commander, our mission has been completed."
The girl said.
Behind the large desk, a burly man with a bushy beard, smoking a pipe, waved his hand, signaling her to sit and talk.
"Casualties?"
"Within the acceptable range."
"Good. Then I'm afraid your vacation needs to be canceled."
"Why!"
"These past days have been particularly rough with demons running rampant—it's driving me crazy! Do these demons even take weekends off?" the man muttered.
The girl looked at his bloodshot eyes from exhaustion but ultimately didn't voice her protest aloud.
"Of course, I know you're tired too, so I've prepared several tasks that are relatively manageable. You can pick one from them."
