Mid-June at Xi Lin Mathematics Institute was marked by two significant events.
One was Edward Whitten's special report on Friday, and the other was the wedding of the school's well-known professor, Li Jian Gao, on Sunday.
The former was actively publicized on the official website, as if the institute wished it could announce to the entire country.
Xu Dajiang was just short of having Dou Dou help him promote it.
As for the latter, Li Jian Gao still didn't want too many people to know about it; he didn't even notify many of his colleagues.
However, once word got out, it naturally spread to the workplace.
Initially, Li Jian Gao hadn't even told his good friends like Jiang University's Zhang Chunlei, Liu Jian, Chen Xujing, Wang Ming, since they all lived in different cities, and it would be inconvenient to travel just for the weekend.
