Looking down from above, the dense black clouds resembled a curtain sweeping across, swiftly advancing and gradually obscuring the clear sky. In just a matter of seconds, the inky black cloud mass had completely blanketed the sky. From below, the entire sky was cloaked in swirling mist, creating an oppressive atmosphere that made breathing difficult.
Of course, it was impossible for clouds to genuinely cover the entire sky; the sky was too vast for any clouds to conceal. However, as the saying goes, "sunrise in the east, rain in the west," the area covered by clouds didn't need to be too extensive for it to seem as if daylight was being blocked from below. It was like holding an umbrella—it isn't large, but it can shield your entire view of the sky.
