Jian Xi had a total of three seals, each with different shapes and fonts, used for stamping on different paintings. She always claimed they were carved by her own hand, for they resembled the work of a master.
"Just one person." Jian Xi's gaze flashed, refusing to discuss the topic further, "What should we have for dinner tonight?"
"Anything!"
Cheng Ling was not picky about food, very easy to please. Whatever was cooked in the kitchen, she would eat.
"Sis, who really carved your seals? Was it your teacher?"
"We're talking about food now, changing the subject."
"Ah, what's there to talk about with food? Sis, who's your teacher? Never heard about them in the circles! Are they a reclusive expert?" Cheng Ling inquired with curiosity.
Jian Xi glared at her, conflicted: "You weren't so nosy before."
"Uh... okay okay, I won't ask anymore." Cheng Ling, embarrassed, stuck out her tongue and muttered quietly, "Didn't dare to ask before because we weren't close!"
