Chu Ruo Lin glared fiercely at Chu Ling'er: "Did you not understand what I just said?"
Chu Ling'er smiled somewhat sheepishly.

She had heard some things about spies before, but some elders warned against speaking too soon and startling the snake, so even now that Chu Ling'er mentioned it, she pretended to know nothing.
