Chapter 251 - Chapter 265

"Judith, my little cutie, long time no see." Carl greeted Judith in Sean's arms with a smile.

"Aaaaaah~" Judith waved her hands, obviously recognizing Carl.

Carl held out his hand, ready to catch Judith.

"Is your hand okay?" Sean was a little worried that Carl would drop Judith.

Carl immediately withdrew his hands and said, "No, I won't hold her anymore. Go hold her yourself. I'm leaving."

"No, no, no, hehe, she likes you very much." Sean quickly handed Judith to Carl.

Karl just said it, carefully took Judith and hugged her with both hands.

Although the pain in Carl's hands did not disappear so quickly, fortunately Judith was not heavy, and was close to her body, so she could bear a large part of the weight with her body. Carl did not think there would be any accidents.

"Carl, you haven't been to our room for a long time. You should come here more often so that I can see you." Lori also walked out from the inner room at this time.

"Well, I know. I will come to see you often in the future." Carl nodded with a smile.

In fact, ever since she had Judith, Lori hadn't taken the initiative to see Carl for a long time. It was like she was letting him go. Perhaps she had transferred most of her feelings for Carl to Judith.

Carl could understand. It was his fault for not acting like a close relative. Carl had no objection to this. This kind of relationship was good. There was no need to deliberately pursue a loving mother and a filial son.

Lori hesitated for a moment and chose a topic that she thought Carl would be interested in. "I heard that you've been practicing swordplay with Michonne recently? How's it going?"

"Not bad, but apparently I'm not as talented in this area as I am in shooting," Carl said with a smile.

"I heard it's quite hard. You should pay attention to combining work and rest." Lori put her hand on Carl's shoulder.

Carl nodded, "Yeah, I know, Michonne gave me a day off today."

Sean smiled and said, "I was wondering why you had time to come here today. Then why don't you have lunch with us today?"

Karl shrugged helplessly, "But there are several of us here, and I don't want my mother to be too tired."

"Then I'll, um, cook. I'm actually quite good at cooking." Sean smiled helplessly.

"That would be the best." Carl patted Judith in his arms, and Judith became a little restless.

"Carl, you've grown a lot taller. You've really grown up." Lori touched Carl's head.

"Yeah, you've grown really fast recently." Carl is now only a head shorter than Lori.

"It's still early now. I want to take Judith out for a walk, is that okay? She looks like she wants to go out too." Carl smiled as he looked at Judith in his arms.

"Of course you can, you are her biological brother. Well, I fed her this morning, and she just went to the toilet not long ago, so you don't have to worry." Lori nodded.

"Then I'll go first. If you want to find me, I'll be in the east of the third area."

"Okay, be safe."

"rest assured."

Carl smiled down at Judith as he walked out the door, closed his locks, and then knocked on the door of the room opposite, which was the door of his, Beth's and his own room.

The door was opened quickly, and Beth hurried out and took Judith from Carl's arms. Beth often held Judith, so Judith was not afraid of strangers.

"I don't know what's so embarrassing about this." Carl shook his arms and walked towards the corridor with Beth.

"It's really embarrassing. It always feels weird if I go to see your mother with you." Beth pouted and teased Judith in her arms.

Carl smiled and said, "But I am always calm when facing your father Hershel, even when you are around."

"That's because you're a little thick-skinned." Beth snorted.

"Okay, whatever you say is what it is." Carl smiled helplessly.

When the two went down to the fifth floor, they happened to meet Glenn and Maggie walking towards them.

"Hey, Beth, Carl, good morning." Maggie waved.

"Good morning." Beth and Carl both stopped and waited for them to approach.

"What are you going to do so early in the morning? And you're holding Judith." Glenn asked.

"Let's take a walk and breathe some fresh air. Glenn, how's your horse riding going?" Carl said.

"As bad as ever." Maggie slapped Glenn on the shoulder, mocking him mercilessly.

Glenn immediately made a bitter face. "I can't help it. I have never even seen many live horses, let alone riding a horse since I was a child."

"Then you must have seen him enough now that you see him every day." Carl said with a smile.

"Maybe he really doesn't have the talent for this. Speaking of talent, Glenn, Carl is much better than you. When I taught him, he was much smarter than you."

"Many people have praised me for being a good student," Carl said with a smile.

"Let's talk while we walk, instead of blocking the corridor," Beth suggested.

"Of course, Beth, can you let me hug her?" Maggie came close to Beth. The corridor was not wide, so Carl could only follow behind with Glenn helplessly.

"You should ask Carl this question. He is Judith's brother." Beth smiled.

"If you agree, would Carl dare to disagree?" Maggie turned her head and looked at Carl and asked, "Right, Carl."

Carl smiled and nodded, "Well, that's right, Beth's meaning is what I mean, and Beth has the final say."

Hearing this, Maggie glared at Glenn fiercely again, and Glenn suddenly felt like he was shot even when he was lying down.

"Come on, be careful." Beth carefully handed Judith to Maggie, and Glenn escaped.

"Judith, you are so cute and good. Little arrogant girl, are you very arrogant?" Maggie immediately lost interest in paying attention to Glenn and wholeheartedly teased Judith in her arms.

"Carl." Glenn suddenly pulled Carl.

Carl turned his head and slowed down his pace so as not to disturb Beth and Maggie in front of him.

Glenn asked with a bitter face, "Why do you and Beth get along so well, but Maggie always loses her temper so easily."

Carl laughed, "Because you are a wooden man, girls are like this. When they lose their temper, they are not necessarily really angry. They are just dissatisfied with you, especially when there is me as a comparison."

"Comparison?" Glenn was slightly stunned.

"Well, that's right, you see, Maggie and Beth are sisters, and we have a pretty good relationship, so Maggie will subconsciously compare you with her sister's boyfriend, that is, me.

In many aspects, such as how you treat them, how you get along with them, and most importantly, your appearance. You are not as handsome as me. "

"Damn, your freckles haven't even faded yet." Green said unconvinced.

Karl smiled indifferently, "Okay, this is just a joke. What's really important is that you can't even say sweet words to coax a girl. You are simply hopeless."

"Sweet words? How do you say this? Carl, teach me." Glenn's eyes lit up immediately and he grabbed Carl's arm.

"This is not something that can be taught. I think it has to come from the heart to be considered true love words. You just need to express your love more often.

The view on love here is somewhat different from your hometown, so we need to speak it out instead of just guessing or thinking about it implicitly. "
