Arriving at the address on the back of the photo, Ye Xi realized it was an abandoned, desolate factory.
Almost no other buildings could be seen around, just a lone, old factory standing here.
It was already dark, and even the streetlights were mostly broken, flickering on and off, casting a frightening atmosphere.
There were hardly any cars in sight.
Ye Xi was unsure if she should continue walking inside.
But after hesitating, she took a step forward.
The road to the factory was covered with dry, withered grass, topped with a thick layer of snow.
As Ye Xi trudged forward, one foot deep, the next shallow, she noticed the snow was full of footprints, and not just from one person.
Just as Ye Xi was about to retreat, her phone rang.
"Are you scared?"
It was a woman's voice, sounding somewhat familiar.
But the caller deliberately disguised her true voice, making Ye Xi uncertain.
"Who are you really? What's your purpose for calling me here?"
