There had been weird and lots of cases of people especially children being kidnapped all over the kingdom.
It had become a national news and emergency!
The kingdom had dispatched quite a lot of it's forces to investigate and stop these cases!
And the viscount this time was just one of the few that had been caught in the act and are being cleaned up by the kingdom!
And because it is happening all around the kingdom, in this mission, they had to rely only on themselves, they had no back up, or even a team that had been dispatched before them!
Good thing the IAI Department were meticulous and had given them all the information they needed!

The Storm City was quite far from the capital.
It would've taken them about two weeks if they just ran by themselves, so they had to take a carriage with them.
It would have been faster if they just rode horses, but Akai and Eiji doesn't know how to ride one, so they had to use the coachman Marco to drive the carriage, who was the only person who actually knows how to ride a horse as well as drive a carriage!
And with a specially breed stallion, they managed to arrive in the city within a week!
When they arrived at the city, they went to the IAI Department branch, rested for the night and took the new intel that has been gathered in the past week.

According to the newest intel, the count had somehow known that he was caught by the kingdom and had gone ballistic in his activities!
He jus basically did everything in the open! Whether it be in daytime or night time! There would be reports coming in that in this part of the city, many people had been kidnapped with many witnesses on the scene!
Storm City was already in a state of turmoil, it wasn't just the count, there were others who had been kidnapping people a lot!
So the Duke of the City was very busy, and as he was told that the kingdom had dispatched a team to kill the Count, the Duke just left the mess of this part of the City to Eiji and the other's!
Good thing the IAI Department was very thorough, they had managed to know the details as to why the count and many others was kidnapping people and what they intended to do with them!

These lunatics were the real ones behind the scenes!
They took the weakness of the count, his children, his history of corruption and his recent debauchery as hostage and made him their work slaves!
And the purpose of the kidnapped people was just for an experiment!
The bastards took people all over the kingdom and performed and experiment about a ritual they had dig out from a ruins from a lost civilization!
According to the information, the first person that excavated the ruins managed to get a special ability like a Blood sword like powers after completing the ritual!
But the ritual needs sacrifice, and the more powerful the sacrifice, the greater their reward was, and even though they were lunatics, they still felt that it was a bit of a waste just to use their powerful swordsmen as sacrifice, so they use quantity instead of quality!
And they succeeded, but the powers that they got would always be flawed!
The IAI Department still hasn't had any more information in regards to this.
Now their mission was to kill the one that was responsible for the kidnapping!
Although this was a crime forced unto him by the Sword Of Freedom, the Count would still have to pay for the crimes that had been done!
And the least punishment he would have would be instant death, while the worst would still be death, but a slow and agonizing one!
But Eiji and the others would still need to be vigilant!, the count has a Master level bodyguard, and for the lunatics, most of them were elites with only one being a Master level!
Though there were only ten of them, the lunatics had weird abilities and aren't afraid to sacrifice themselves and others to protect their superiors!
This meant that they were practically fighting a death Squad, who weren't afraid of death, or had no qualms in sacrificing their own comrades for their own survivability!
So Eiji, Akai and Marco were being very careful in their approach and is always ready to take in the intel from the IAI Department!
And now after their rest, they are now setting out and look out for suspicious people and then survey the mansion of the Count, then finally take action!
