My gaze swept over the bustling city of Kemet, a whirlwind of thoughts consuming my mind as the weight of my actions settled upon me.
The realization dawning that I had sealed the fate of this thriving metropolis.
The two figures, now transformed into vampires, Akasha and Enkil, their blood unlocking a flood of their past memories akin to those of the underworld vampires.
This newfound insight provided me with an understanding of the current history yet to unfold, a tapestry of events both past and future interwoven that will soon happen.
Amidst this revelation, my mouth hooks up to a slight smile.
Suddenly the keen acuity of my hearing captured the approaching multitude of heartbeats, diverting my attention from the churning of my thoughts.
I turned to face the newcomers, inquiring with a measured tone.
"Queen Akasha, who are these two exquisite ladies accompanying you today?"
As Akasha knelt before me, flanked by the two women who had both glanced at each other with an understanding nod as they both also knelt.
"My Creator, these two women help in locating you for rescue!"
Furrowing my brow at the unexpected answer, I sought clarity on their involvement and motivation in this quest.
Akasha paused in a moment of silence.
"The women with me are Mekare and Maharet to whom I bestowed the gift to," Akasha disclosed.
"They are witches with the ability to converse with the spirits of the world," she elaborated.
"Their actions once displeased me so greatly that they faced the heinous fate of public violation by my servant Khayman."
The revelation of their near-catastrophic encounter caused the two women to visibly shudder, a stark reminder of their Queen's brutality.
"However, it was the spirits who led us to your location, and I also granted the gift to Khayman," Akasha continued.
As the familiarity of these names resonated in my mind, the realization dawned that the events mirrored those of a the movie as it had not been altered but rather accelerated in time.
Inhaling deeply, I exhaled audibly, the weight of the moment palpable in the air.
"Akasha, have you merely sought to relay your actions to me? It holds little significance at this moment," I articulated with a detached air.
"However, the mention of the spirits piqued a renewed interest within me!"
Prompting a piercing gaze towards both women, who seemed to sense the answers i want.
Meeting my crimson-eyed stare, Maharet spoke distinctly, "It shall be done today."
In contrast, Mekare appeared engrossed at my features, her unwavering gaze fixed upon me like a hungry wolf, unlike the typically loquacious Maharet, who had immediately averted her eyes after her response.
