The monotone so familiar trailed off as the brunette's ancient spirit shimmered and expanded outward. Everything, all at once, seemed to grow quieter. The distant sounds of the camp - voices, clanking equipment, even the rustling of leaves in the breeze… all somehow faded into an unnatural blankness.
They remained there, but muted. Undistracting and somehow all the more agitating. Elua quickly and methodically blocked out all sources of spiritual noise, creating a vacuum of a different kind around them that Qat had never experienced before. An inversion of the 'disappearing' that the tall girl always did when meditating.
An environment just for her. And only her.
Without any of the usual pulse or hums, as if the fragment of Elua in her chest was not there. Isolated completely in a sort of spiritual cultivation 'clean room'.
