"Oh my!" Gwen put a hand over her mouth, looking at Rose through the mirror; her eyes widened in horror and disbelief.
"No, dear, you don't say you don't need a master; everyone needs a master," Madam Yu said softly as she turned Rose's chair to the side so she was now facing her as she started using a cotton pad to gently wipe Rose's face.
"Um, I'll help with the others," Gwen said and quickly left Rose's side, going ahead to another table to do a fae's hair.
"Hmm, she thinks she's better than us because she's human," A creature that looked like Madam Yu commented snidely as she purposely walked past Rose.
"Don't mind her, Demons are always jealous," Madam Yu said as she applied a layer of makeup on Rose's face.
Rose could only nod, but deep down she was starting to feel different. She could feel the curious and hateful eyes of the creatures on her body. She no longer knew what to expect in the dark realm; she was starting to lose hope of ever returning home.
