Chapter 13 - chapter 13 That Darn Man.

They all took off into different directions, trying their best efforts to find little old me, who was still hanging in the mass of trees and now I was walking behind the small-minded little children that were called men, but at the bottom of the path this time. climbing down that tree step by steps took all my effect, I couldn't help but huff out in relief, that was a real pain in my back side, realising the hard part was over, "thank the gods,

While some of them were ranting and raving on about a blue, haired woman, with a pretty face, holding two swords, and there I was still running around, dangerously with them. they still seemed to struggle coming to terms with that piece of news, it's strange seeing a woman holding such weapons it was frowned

upon. I couldn't help but giggle, listening to them in the far distance.

They were arguing back and forth with each other, I rolled my eyes, smiling at their petty jokes, while I was panting out deep and heavy breaths.

I was trying to stay angry with them but listening to these fickle men as they squabbled back and forth as they were like overgrown babies that seen new toys.

I didn't want to alert any of them of my presence.

After all, Prince Charming, was the one I was about to have my argument with,

trailing after them slowly.

"I Staggered on my left foot, my body struggling with complete and utter exhaustion, to even carry it through, I was completely mad in the head, even as I looked around me, one is supposed to keep their exposer under these circumstances, only to wince in pain, as they were still throbbing as tie passed me by, It was like they were playing their own break up song.

"My poor, "ackee breaky feet, trying to hop-jog in the same direction, those gentlemen went in. I tried to do my best under the circumstances, keeping to the walls at my sides, placing my small hands on the cold slimy concrete in front of me, touching it for the extra support, only this time, I wasn't going to let them take me off guard.

"never ever again.

I was so happy to have my invisible shield spell right now, the only thing to protect me as I headed off in the direction of Prince charming and his Commander, but the sound of my soft shoes squeaking like a mouse was not a very good sigh and I would slip in them any time soon and the possibility would land

me in more trouble, giving me away in a moment's notice, stepping through puddle after puddles without splashing myself in the dark was not good too.

I was already a wet rag and smelling like a dog was not on my agenda and the fact that my breathing was to heavy and to erratic that I would need ventilating soon, plodding on regardless of the consequences .

"YES... "This women in black was following some silly men around in the dark, "silly me, I really needed to be careful here as I followed my enemy down a long winding path that lead to another bunch of houses.

Frowning down at my sweaty body feeling uncomfortable in my new skin, noticing that I

looked like a drowned rat as my feet squelched in the mud. I looked around me,

noticing they were nearer than I gave thought. All I did was watch their steps as he too doodled like a lost puppy down the side ally as he waited for me to show my face.

The ally seemed a lot dirtier than a homeowner's outhouse and I would know, I have seen a few in the past, I couldn't help but notice how tall he was as his wings fluttered on his back; his own body shook with laughter as I listened to him as he talked to his Commander. I couldn't help myself, the man naturally made me smile.

My eyes flickered up, frowning at the roof in front of me, noticing it had been quite for some time, and quite some height for me to get up there too, as I carried on cackling to myself just for the fun of it, I was about to have with them. "Knowing all this was going to be a long shot, "even for me, "but I had to try something." Even if it was going to be a hit and miss job.

Looking over to see how far the men had gone, "now was my chance, "taking a big breath as I took a leap of faith and ran like my life depended on it… "Which it did right now! Stopping myself at the last minute,

Only to freeze on the spot, then tiptoeing the rest of the way ahead making sure they wouldn't feel or noticed me, "trying not to snigger at the observation of it all, and what I was doing in slow motion as I moved like a robot, "only to smirk in the process of what I was doing.

I knew this was insane, I could have just gone home instead, but no I was poking my head around the corner waiting for the Dragon to come along, catching sight of a drain pipe in front of me, smiling sadistically to myself only to see that it was on the ledge of someone's home.

It was too quiet for me as I walked over, struggling to place my feet on the clamps, testing to see if it was a solid fix to the wall, the last thing I needed was another fall, shaking the black poll to see if it would support my weight, but the damn thing squeaked instead.

Nearly giving me a heart-attack in the process. "My shoes squeaked, slipping back down as I struggled to climb back up, wincing at the odd noises as it moved.

Doing my best not to slip on the black snake of pipe again as my foot slipped, hanging there suspended in the air, my arms shaking from the pull, pain shooting in my forearms, my fingers turning a bruised purple-white as I

struggled to hold on and pull myself up.

"Son of a gun, I grunted out as I hung there suspended in the air I'd be glad when I'm over this bloody thing and finely on top of the building, "I'd love to rest my body right about now, I muttered, my body flipping upwards into the air, swinging my legs over the brick building, until my legs were fully over the top, dangling there for a moment.

My body thumped hard to the ground, groaning, only to slip at the last minute as my arms hit the cement, sweat glistering from my forehead as it dripped down into my eyes stinging me.

God, "now I know... how a bat feels when there hanging their suspended upside down, "I've always wondered why the pore buggers

slept a lot, "it's all that blood rushing to their poor little brains.
