Chapter 2 - Kaito's ancestor.

As Kaito and Shukracharya walked, curiosity gnawed at Kaito. He couldn't help but ask, "Excuse me, but are you... Guru Shukracharya, the guru of the Asuras?"

Shukracharya glanced at him, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "Yes, kid. I am Asur Guru Shukracharya."

"Sir, I'm really grateful that you saved me from that Asura, but why?"

"You are quite an impatient child, aren't you?" Shukracharya replied with a wise look. "You have many questions, but don't worry. Everything will be answered once we reach our destination."

Kaito thought to himself, "Okay, I should remain silent. He would have killed me if he wanted to, and old people are hot-tempered. If I keep pestering him, he might really kill me."

They continued walking through the city, invisible to normal eyes thanks to Gurumahasur's Maya. Eventually, they reached a secluded area: a park at night, empty and quiet.

Shukracharya stopped and turned to Kaito. "This place is hidden from the eyes of mortals," he explained. "Here, you are safe, and we can speak freely."

Kaito nodded, still overwhelmed by the day's events. "Thank you, Guru Shukracharya. But why did you save me?"

Shukracharya's expression softened. "You are the descendant of a great Asura warrior. Your father entrusted me with your well-being. It is my duty to guide you, just as I guided him."

Kaito's eyes widened in realization. "My father... you knew him?"

"Yes," Shukracharya said, "and you carry his legacy within you. Your potential is immense, but you need guidance and training to harness it fully."

As they stood in the quiet park, Kaito felt a sense of purpose wash over him. Under Shukracharya's tutelage, he would learn the secrets of his heritage and the true extent of his powers. This was the beginning of a new chapter, one that would lead him to embrace his destiny as a half-Asura in a world that needed his strength.

"Now, do you remember the Asura who was about to kill you, Kaito?" asked Gurumahasur.

Kaito blinked and nodded.

"Good. Then you should remember that he mentioned you being a descendant of a certain someone."

Kaito nodded again, this time fully focused on what the old man was saying.

"The reason I saved you was because of your lineage and your potential. You are a descendant of Asura King Jalandhar!" he said with a serious expression.

"Huh..!! Jalandhar, as in the Jalandhar who was born from the Krodhaagni of the destroyer god Shiva?" Kaito yelled in shock and excitement. Jalandhar was a powerful Asura, undefeated, even Vishnu couldn't defeat him outright. Only Shiva, his father, had managed to defeat him, and even then, he had to absorb Jalandhar back due to their shared essence.

"Damn it, brat, stop yelling! Yes, you are the descendant of Jalandhar, as in the Jalandhar who was born from the Krodhaagni of the Destroyer!" Shukracharya said in an annoyed and exasperated tone, mimicking Kaito's last sentence.

Kaito's excitement turned into a mix of awe and confusion. "But why... why would my lineage matter so much?"

"Because," Shukracharya said, his tone turning serious again, "you carry the potential to become as powerful, if not more, than your ancestor. The world is changing, and the balance between celestial and mortal realms is delicate. Your abilities could tip the scales."

Kaito took a deep breath, trying to process everything. "So, what now? What do I need to do?"

Shukracharya placed a hand on Kaito's shoulder. "First, you must undergo rigorous training to harness your powers and understand your heritage. You must learn the ways of the Asuras, the secrets of your lineage, and the responsibilities that come with it."

Kaito nodded, determination gleaming in his eyes. "I'm ready, Guru Shukracharya. I want to learn everything."

With that, Shukracharya led Kaito deeper into the park, where a hidden entrance to an ancient temple awaited them. This temple, steeped in mystical energy and ancient knowledge, would be the place where Kaito's true journey would begin. Under the guidance of Gurumahasur, Kaito would unlock his potential and embrace his destiny as the descendant of the mighty Asura King Jalandhar.

As they reached the temple, Kaito realized it was dedicated to Lord Shiva. He recalled the stories of Guru Shukracharya being a great devotee of Lord Shiva. The temple, with its ancient carvings and the serene aura surrounding it, felt both intimidating and inviting.

Shukracharya began chanting some mantras, and to Kaito's astonishment, a portal shimmered into existence. Kaito stood there, gobsmacked by the spectacle.

Shukracharya walked towards the portal, then turned back to see Kaito still standing in shock. "Do you need an invitation to come? Hurry up, brat. Follow me."

"Eh... Oh, sorry. I was a little stunned," Kaito said with an embarrassed laugh.

He quickly followed Shukracharya into the portal. Stepping through, Kaito felt a rush of energy envelop him. On the other side, they emerged into a realm unlike anything he had ever seen. It was a place where the mystical and the divine intertwined—a training ground for the chosen ones.

The landscape was dotted with ancient structures, flowing rivers of light, and fields that seemed to shimmer with the essence of pure energy. The atmosphere was charged with an otherworldly power that made Kaito feel both exhilarated and small.

Shukracharya turned to Kaito. "This is where your training begins. Here, you will learn to control your powers, understand your heritage, and prepare for the challenges ahead."

Kaito nodded, determination filling his eyes once more. "I'm ready, Guru Shukracharya. Show me the way."

With a wise nod, Shukracharya led Kaito further into the realm, where his true journey as a half-Asura and the descendant of King Jalandhar would begin in earnest.

"Brat, before we begin, I will tell you about your ancestor, alright."

"Yes, Gurudev," I said with an excited look.

With a chant and a swing of his hand, Shukracharya created a floating screen in the air.

"Long ago, Devraj Indra, the king of the Devas, and Guru Brihaspati, the guru of the Devas, were marching towards Kailash to meet with Lord Shiva."

On the screen, I saw a handsome man adorned with jewelry around his body and a crown. His face had sharp features, eyes sharp like lightning, but the arrogant smile on his handsome face made him unlikable despite his appearance. His body was muscular and aesthetic, like a calisthenics athlete. Next to him was an old man with a long white beard, wearing an orange dhoti and angvastra like a traditional Hindu pandit.

It was as if I was watching a movie, unfolding exactly as Guru Shukracharya described the story.

"Then, as Indra and Guru Brihaspati were heading towards Kailash, Lord Shiva decided to test the king of the Devas. Disguised as a tantrik, he sat in a meditative state. When they reached the tantrik, Indra said..."

On the screen, Indra's voice boomed, "Hey, you tantrik, who are you? Get out of the way! Can't you see that you are in the way of Devraj Indra?"

The tantrik remained unresponsive, as if the world was not his concern. This made Indra burst out in anger. "You bastard, how dare you ignore me! I'm the king of the Devas. Show me respect!"

But the tantrik still showed no response. Furious, Indra yelled, "You will pay for your arrogance, tantrik. Prepare to die."

Indra summoned his famed weapon, the Vajra, and launched it towards the tantrik. The tantrik opened his eyes, red with anger.

Guru Brihaspati, realizing the true identity of the tantrik, shouted, "Devraj, stop!" But it was too late.

As the Vajra was about to hit the tantrik, it circled around him and returned to Indra. Indra was shocked, and Guru Brihaspati turned pale.

The tantrik spoke, his voice thunderous, "Indra, do you really think the Vajra would attack me? It was made from the bones of a sage who was my devotee."

Lord Shiva revealed his true appearance. Indra, shocked and scared, stammered, "L-Lord Shiva, please forgive me, Mahadev. I'm truly sorry."

"Yes, Mahadev, please forgive Devraj," pleaded Guru Brihaspati.

Shiva's eyes blazed with fury. "Indra, your arrogance will be your downfall. You have brought this upon yourself, and your people will face the consequences of their leader's mistake."

Shiva opened his third eye and released his Krodha Agni. Indra felt true dread as Guru Brihaspati yelled, "Run, Devraj, or you won't be alive by the next mo-"

But before he could finish his sentence, Devraj Indra had already fled, shouting, "Ahhh... Save me, someone, ahh..."

And Indra was running throughout the Cosmos and it was legit funny when u imagine it.

Guru Brihaspati sweatdropped, thinking, "Well, that was fast."

Shukracharya turned to Kaito. "You see, from this Krodha Agni, Jalandhar was born. He inherited the rage and power of Lord Shiva, making him a formidable Asura. His lineage runs in your veins, Kaito. That is why your potential is immense."

Kaito listened intently, absorbing every word. "So, my ancestor was born from Lord Shiva's wrath... That's incredible."

"Indeed," Shukracharya nodded. "Now, you understand the gravity of your heritage. Your journey to harness this power begins now."
