Chapter 47 - Chapter 45 True Appearance

Cake Island, Day 8

Cracker already knew what had happened on Cake Island over the past few days from his family members. He was troubled by how to deal with the Beasts Pirates.

Their family wasn't what it used to be. Establishing strong enemies rashly was unwise, but being too soft would also make them lose face. They were still the Four Emperors.

His eyes shifted to L'Aquila, who was tied up in the castle with seastone.

L'Aquila had already woken up, his body still wrapped in many bandages. It was clear that the Charlotte Family didn't want him to die from his injuries.

L'Aquila remained silent, staring at Cracker with a dark look.

Given that he had made a big fuss on Cake Island and injured several members of the Big Mom Pirates, many Charlotte Family members were furious with him. Oven, who had been severely injured and defeated by L'Aquila, was especially angry and wanted revenge.

Although Oven wasn't a Sweet Commander, he was one of the few monster-level strongmen in the family. He had challenged L'Aquila head-on but was defeated. It took his brother, a Sweet Commander, to finally defeat L'Aquila.

How could Oven accept such a huge insult? He almost lost control and wanted to kill the restrained L'Aquila.

He was forcibly stopped by a group of brothers and sisters and eventually came to his senses.

If it had been the previous Big Mom Pirates, no matter how powerful L'Aquila was, even if he had eight lives, he would probably have died.

But after the Wano Country War, the Beasts Pirates were at the height of their fame, yet not as strong as before. Despite their strength, they had become hesitant and timid in their actions.

Even people like Katakuri and Cracker had to accept this reality.

At that moment, Brûlée suddenly shouted happily to everyone, "Katakuri just contacted me through the mirror! He said he finished things over there!"

Members of the Charlotte Family immediately looked over, and even the silent L'Aquila was startled. She tried angrily to break free of the chains but was clearly unable to do so.

Cracker saw what she was thinking. He didn't want to embarrass himself in front of King.

Naturally, he wouldn't look good when facing someone who had hurt his family. Though he wouldn't kill her, he still dared to humiliate and tease her.

Cracker walked over and kicked L'Aquila to the ground. He stepped on her body and said coldly, "Now you know it's embarrassing. Weren't you crazy when you caused trouble before? I'll make sure you remember this time. When you meet someone stronger than yourself, you should know how to keep your head down. This is not a place for you to act wild!"

Other Charlotte Family members felt relieved and proud when they saw this.

L'Aquila stared straight at Cracker, her eyes bloodshot. Cracker was almost tired of seeing this look of humiliation and revenge after defeat, so he dismissed it.

Afterward, everyone stared at the mirror, looking forward to the return of their brother Katakuri.

Under Brûlée's control, the mirror rippled again, and the first person to step out was a tall silver-haired man.

Looking at his clothes and figure, everyone recognized this was King, but no one had seen his true face under the mask, and they couldn't help but be shocked.

This was because the Lunaria tribe, to which King belonged, was highly sought after by the World Government, offering a high bounty for any information. Just providing information could earn a reward of 100 million Berries.

Even his confidant L'Aquila looked shocked.

King's choice to show his true face at this moment meant he had completely accepted his past and no longer chose to escape and hide.

Following closely behind was Katakuri, who also took off the scarf he had worn for many years at this moment, which surprised everyone even more.

Except for some older family members, none of the other younger siblings had ever seen his true face beneath the scarf. That large mouth stretching from ear to ear truly frightened them.

"Katakuri-nii!" cried one of Katakuri's younger sisters. Not only did she, whom he regarded as his idol, have a mental breakdown, but others looked horrified, some whispered, and some even burst into tears.

At this point, Oven, Cracker, and others glared at them fiercely, immediately signaling them to shut up. They didn't allow anyone to laugh at Katakuri, not even family members.

Since Katakuri had also chosen to reveal his true self, he was ready to face all doubts and didn't take them to heart at all.

No one knew what had happened in the mirror world, but both of them had changed significantly. Just from the injuries on their bodies, it was clear the battle had been extremely fierce.

After experiencing a fierce fight that lasted for seven days and seven nights, both Katakuri and King were now in a miserable state, but their unyielding and intimidating auras remained.

King walked up to L'Aquila, looked down at him with a frown, and asked coldly, "What's going on?"

L'Aquila, tied to the ground, could not face his gaze.

King, knowing L'Aquila never explained failure, turned to look at Katakuri.

Katakuri was also unaware of the situation at the time, but his expression remained calm. He looked at the others and asked, "Explain it!"

The eldest sister, Compote, stepped forward and roughly explained what had happened.

After hearing that his brothers and sisters were injured, Katakuri ignored the other reasons and just stared at L'Aquila with cold, murderous eyes.

After King heard about his men's record of defeating Oven and losing to Katakuri, his face looked a little better. He was aware of L'Aquila's strength. This performance was already considered good, so he did not blame him.

King said calmly, "Since both sides have faults and each has their own victories and defeats, let's end this matter. Katakuri, what do you think?"

Katakuri looked gloomy. His family was his bottom line. If he hadn't been concerned about the Beasts Pirates, he would have executed L'Aquila on the spot.

At this time, Cracker approached and said, "Brother, be patient!"

Oven, who was bandaged, also said seriously, "Don't be impulsive!"

Katakuri understood this, his expression gradually returning to normal, and he said, "That's it."

Then, he stepped closer to L'Aquila and said meaningfully, "L'Aquila, right? I remember you."

L'Aquila faced his gaze without fear.

King smiled lightly when he saw this and said nothing.

Afterwards, they untied the chains binding L'Aquila.

The two of them didn't linger, stretching their wings and flying into the air, quickly leaving Cake Island.

Members of the Charlotte Family immediately gathered around Katakuri, eager to know the outcome of the battle.

Katakuri calmly said, "The matter has been resolved. Nothing else matters."

The impatient Mont-d'Or said, "This battle is related to the face of our Big Mom Pirates! Brother, just tell us, we have been waiting for so many days!"

Katakuri looked at him coldly and said, "Aren't you quite smart? Just take a guess!"

He immediately turned around and left, paying no attention to him.

Mont-d'Or and the others were left with stunned expressions.
