Arthur sat down by himself immersed I. Deep thought. The maid Tilda walked to him with a trolly of food and started setting the table.
Seeing Arthur so lost in thought he barely reacted to her presence, she walked to him and shook him to bring him out of his daze.
"Your highness... your highness, are you okay?" She asked when he blinked and came to his senses. "Ever since we grew up, I've never seen you so troubled. Are you feeling okay?"
"I am fine. You don't need to worry. Is my aunt still coming to eat?" He asked the girl who was his age -Tilda.
"She is. So, I will take my leave now." Tilda turned to leave the room but Arthur called her.
"Tilda.."
"Yes your highness..?"
"You know I appreciate you, right. Not just as someone who has served in this castle, but as a great friend you have been, since the long past." Arthur spoke with tears building up in his eyes. The girl couldn't tell because of his back being to her. But she noticed his voice was a bit shaken.
