William was grateful for the chance to spend more time with Sanya now that his work obligations weren't as overwhelming. So much had happened recently, and he could hardly believe that even their closest family friends were experiencing such devastating events… like his Aunt Summer unexpectedly falling into a coma.
Uncle Arlan was shattered, and Uncle James and Darwin had taken turns staying by his side. This incident also pushed William to share the truth about his father's condition with his father's closest friends. Unlike them, his father could no longer provide much physical support due to his own health struggles.
"We're ready," Sanya's voice brought him back to reality. They were at Meta Doctors Hospital again. He had been here yesterday when Aunt Summer collapsed, and earlier today, they had briefly checked on her condition before preparing to take Sanya's mother home after her discharge.
"Let's go then," William said, escorting his wife and mother-in-law to the car.
