Both Mika and Saori had anticipated the arrival of assassins from Sanctuary. After all, Saori's actions with the Galaxian Wars—using a Gold Cloth as the prize, had been a blatant provocation, practically begging for Saga's attention.

Therefore, after her awakening as Athena—they had been preparing for this inevitable confrontation.

——

Mika rose from his meditation, his [Observation Haki] expanding outwards, encompassing the entire area.

He then teleported to Saori's side.

"You're here, Mika." Saori smiled, standing on the second-floor balcony, watching as several Saints rapidly approached the villa.

"Still smiling? The enemy's practically at our doorstep," Mika remarked, amused by her calm demeanor. He wasn't concerned about the approaching Saints.

A quick scan with his [Observation Haki] had revealed their strength—which wasn't a threat.

After all, his Haki, enhanced by his Cosmo and countless battles in other worlds, had evolved significantly, its range and precision far surpassing its original capabilities.

However, while they might seem insignificant to Him, to others—they were a terrifying force.

The Graad Foundation's security personnel had been easily dispatched, unable to offer any resistance.

"That's why you're here, aren't you?" Saori replied with a smile.

She had complete faith in Mika's ability to protect her. It was a trust born not just from his strength, but also from his loyalty.

Mika shook his head, a smile playing on his lips.

"Don't worry, no one will harm you, not while I'm here," he said, his voice filled with a quiet confidence as he turned to face the intruders.

They stood below, their gazes fixed on him and Saori.

"Who are you?" Saori asked calmly, her voice carrying over the distance.

"I am Dorado; I've come for the Sagittarius Gold Cloth's headpiece—and your head, Saori Kido," one of them declared, stepping forward. His name was Dorado—a character not from the Canon Saint Seiya story.

His face was a mask of confidence, tinged with—urgency. This intrigued Mika.

Having awakened his Cosmo, Mika had begun exploring its applications, developing various mental abilities—hoping to unlock the memories he had lost from his past lives.

While he no longer relied on those memories, they were still a valuable source of—inspiration.

He had chosen not to rely on them completely because they weren't always reliable.

While he didn't know the exact nature of the connection between these worlds and the stories from his past life, they were ultimately works of fiction, often told from a limited perspective—focused on the protagonist's journey.

Therefore, Reality often differed significantly from the stories.

Furthermore, there were inconsistencies and contradictions within the stories themselves, especially in long-running series like Manga and Webnovels.

Sometimes, the later parts of a story seemed to contradict the earlier ones, creating a disconnect between the Fictional World and Reality.

Relying too heavily on his memories could be dangerous.

Like with Dorado, for instance.

Mika's knowledge of Saint Seiya came from the Anime and Manga, up to the Poseidon arc.

He had later read about the subsequent storylines, filling in the gaps in his knowledge. However, he had learned from a classmate that there were many non-canonical characters and events in the various adaptations. For instance, Hyoga's master in the Anime had initially been the Crystal Saint, not Camus.

And while the Crystal Saint was later revealed to be Camus's student, in the Manga—Hyoga was Camus's disciple from the start.

Recalling his memories, he realized that in this world, Hyoga was indeed Camus's student—yet Dorado—an Anime-original character also existed.

"This world is complicated. If that's the case—could the movie characters also exist?" He shuddered at the thought. That would be troublesome.

——

"You're Saori Kido, then. I'll take your head and then search for that headpiece," Dorado declared, launching a punch towards Saori.

He was acting out of desperation.

The Gold Cloth pieces he had collected had vanished. Someone Stronger than him, someone also interested in the Gold Cloth, had intervened. Therefore, he had shifted his focus to Saori. A single headpiece wasn't worth the risk.

Mika casually intercepted the attack with his hand.

"Is that all you've got?" Mika asked coldly. As Saori's protector, he wouldn't tolerate anyone attacking her.

And those who did would face his wrath.

"Weak, but still a Saint—I'll use you to test my new technique." Mika raised his hand, and a chaotic vortex of energy began to swirl around his arm, growing faster and faster, radiating an aura of spatial distortion.

He looked down at the startled Saints below and swung his arm downwards.

"Enuma Elish — The Star of Creation that Split Heaven and Earth!"

Cosmo was often described as the Power of Creation and Destruction.

And Mika had just unleashed a technique that mimicked that very Power!

Enuma Elish—Gilgamesh's Noble Phantasm—created a pseudo-spatial rift through concentrated air pressure, shattering the very fabric of Reality.

And while it was based on a legend, it contained a sliver of the true law of creation, which Mika, after absorbing the weapon with his [Thousand Transformations] Ability—had acquired.

He had then used it to develop this new technique, based on Ea, but far more Powerful.

——

[Thousand Transformations]—was a Nen ability he had recently developed, allowing him to absorb other weapons, acquiring their Properties.

While it expanded the potential of his weapons, it hadn't significantly increased his Overall Strength. This wasn't unexpected.

His primary purpose for creating it was to study the Nature of Laws. Many weapons in other worlds possessed such laws, granting them immense Power.

But Mika's ambition wasn't simply to wield such weapons, but to Understand and Master the laws themselves—to further enhance his own Power.

Therefore, he had created [Thousand Transformations]—transforming weapons into abilities.

And through it, he had acquired the sliver of law contained within Ea.

In the Type-Moon world, Noble Phantasms weren't merely weapons but manifestations of a Heroic Spirit's legend.

Take Gilgamesh for instance. While he was a king in the Age of Gods, his kingdom was relatively small. Compared to modern nations—it was practically a village.

However, due to his legend of having "Collected All The Treasures of Mankind," and the ancient nature of his era—he possessed the Noble Phantasm [Gate of Babylon]—containing the prototypes of all human treasures throughout history.

This was the Power of Concepts.

And the Strongest Beings in the Type-Moon world were often masters of manipulating such concepts.

Therefore, Noble Phantasms possessed immense value. For example, the Gordius Wheel he had acquired from Iskandar.

The chariot itself wasn't particularly special; its true value lay in the two Divine oxen that pulled it, imbued with the Divinity of Zeus, allowing it to unleash Divine lightning. And Zeus, even in the Saint Seiya world, was a Powerful God.

Absorbing that Divine Power could potentially grant Mika immense strength. However, since the oxen were his Nen beasts, not Noble Phantasms, he was still contemplating how to—acquire their Power.

As for the other Noble Phantasms, their benefits were more immediate.

Many of the weapons he had taken from Gilgamesh's Gate of Babylon were legendary artifacts, imbued with Powerful concepts and laws. Like Vasavi Shakti—the core of his Longinus, which possessed the Law of "Unerring Accuracy."

Developing [Thousand Transformations] had significantly enhanced Mika's abilities.

And with his ingenuity, he had created a technique that mimicked the Power of Creation—Enuma Elish, though it was still in its nascent stages, far from the level of a Veteran Gold Saint technique.

However, its Potential was Limitless; after all, it was a technique derived from his own Power, perfectly suited to him.

He swung his arm downwards, and the ground before him, along with the Saints caught within its range, was obliterated, the shockwave creating a deep chasm that extended outward.

The attack was unstoppable, its range limited only by his Cosmo reserves. And he had used only Sixth Sense level Cosmo.

Otherwise, they would have been teleported out of the arena instantly.

"The transformation is still too slow… My control isn't precise enough. And the energy—it's too dispersed." He analyzed the flaws of his newly created technique, Enuma Elish, lost in thought, ignoring the remaining enemies.

He was confident none had survived.

And He was right.

——

Saori, seeing him deep in contemplation, waited patiently as the Graad Foundation's security personnel arrived and began repairing the damage.

However, they avoided looking at the balcony where Mika and Saori stood, their faces filled with awe and a hint of fear.

The chasm below—carved by Mika's attack—was a stark reminder of a Saint's Power.

After a while, Mika opened his eyes.

"Why are you still here? Shouldn't you be resting?" Mika asked, turning to Saori.

"Waiting for my knight's triumphant return, of course," she replied with a smile.

"My knight, huh?" He grinned. "Then let's return, my Goddess." He extended his hand.

She took it, and they left the balcony, their laughter echoing through the halls.

——

After Dorado and his companions were eliminated, Mika and Saori enjoyed a few days of peace.

During this time, Mika continued refining his new technique, but he knew such tranquility wouldn't last, not until they defeated Saga.

More assassins from Sanctuary would come.

"Here they come again," he murmured, opening his eyes and sensing several Cosmo signatures approaching.

They were clearly sent by Saga, to retrieve the Gold Cloth and eliminate Saori.

"Those Cosmo signature—Silver Saints?" Mika smiled, his [Observation Haki], Passively encompassing all of Japan—could easily detect any Saint weaker than himself, regardless of their attempts at concealment.

"Silver Saints—perfect... I'll let Seiya and the others handle this. They could use the experience. After all, they need Stronger opponents to reach the peak of the Sixth Sense."

He raised his hand, and the golden vortex appeared.
