Chapter 86 - Chapter 85 - A Familiar Déjà Vu

Third person POV

And then, at 1:03 p.m., the ferry had arrived at Matnog, Sorsogon, and Roxas, as well as Anko, George, and Kayne, were excited to get off the ferry and set foot on the Bicol Region. Later, while walking on the concrete pier of Matnog, Roxas said to Ayala, "You know, when I went back home from Japan, I had a stopover flight here in the Bicol Region."

"Oh, really?" Ayala replied back while glancing at him. "Saan?"

"Sa Legazpi City, and also, Anko felt the night breeze despite being dead."

"What in the…? That's so astig!"

Anko then smiled at Ayala. "Yup!"

Not long after, Roxas and his group hopped in Ricardo's multicab and left the pier, driving into Matnog and northward towards Legazpi City. The drive was long and a bit hard. Roxas felt a bit bored but could not use his phone due to the possibility of motion sickness.

But despite the distance, the group arrived at Legazpi City at 5:11 p.m., just in time for the golden afternoon in the landscape with the Mayon Volcano in the far distance. Getting off, Roxas and the others were mesmerized. A visit to the relatives of Roxas followed after that, and the group planned to stay at an empty house that was owned by one of the relatives, who was the owner of a compound that offered lodging for travelers.

The rest of the afternoon was spent going around the city, and Roxas bought some souvenirs from the region, like a postcard of the Cagsawa Ruins and some keychains with cute and creative designs attached to the metal chains. But upon seeing the ruins in the photo, Anko felt déjà vu from it. "Wait…am I seeing that before?" Anko asked that while being invisible to everyone around.

 "Huh? What?" Roxas asked back.

 "That one looked so familiar…"

"What do you mean by that?"

But Roxas glanced at the photo, only for déjà vu to strike him.

A flashback occurred from Roxas and Anko's past together from 6 years ago, 6 years before Sword Art Online came into the world.
