Lara called the authorities and asked of them to make the evacuation announcement. After 30 min, they got to work, 10 officers controlled the traffic, 5 drove huge trucks to help those who didn't have vehicles, 5 officers made sure that there was order and the remaining 10 officers went ahead to the destination to settle the evacuated people.
An hour later more than half of the town was evacuated, the remaining ones being the stubborn ones who believed it was all a false alarm, and those who were too greedy and wanted to clear out all their valuables.
It was at this time that an earthquake occured, frightening everyone, they instinctively looked towards the volcano and saw it still erupting. They had a bad feeling and some of the stubborn people started evacuating.
Lara remembered that the news had reported that after two little earthquakes, an 8.0 magnitude earthquake had occurred, causing massive mudslides and killing a large percentage of the population.
