When Li Chen returned to the villa, he found Lin Yi sitting on the sofa with a laptop on her legs, seemingly engrossed in something.
As Li Chen approached, he realized Lin Yi was actually watching a soap opera, and she even seemed a bit teary-eyed, which left him speechless.
"What's so good about these things?" Li Chen sat down next to Lin Yi and started the conversation.
Turning her head to glance at Li Chen, Lin Yi then chose not to speak further and shifted all her attention back to the soap opera.
Li Chen had no choice but to sit on the sofa and watch an entire episode of the soap opera with Lin Yi.
"Why did you only get back now?" Giving Li Chen a glance, Lin Yi couldn't help but ask.
"Had some things to handle," Li Chen said.
