Yuran hummed in confusion.
"Silly!" Bo Yan leaned in and kissed her forehead. "With me by your side, you are clad in armor, indomitable, and peerless. I will protect you," he said.
Yuran's entire heart felt as if it were soaking in a warm spring. She nodded, buried in his embrace. "I know."
Hearing her somewhat hoarse voice, Bo Yan hugged her even tighter. "Sleep, I'm here," he said.
"Okay."
That night, she slept very satisfactorily. When Yuran got up the next day, Bo Yan was still asleep, deeply so. She carefully got out of bed, not wanting to disturb him.
After having breakfast, she left a portion for Bo Yan and returned to her room. He was still asleep. Her expression was tender as she walked to the bedside and kissed Bo Yan.
"See you tonight, Brother Seven."
