"I didn't expect you to lose your composure either," Lin Jingyun said, a smile lifting the corners of his mouth as he looked at him.
Lin Jinfang smiled back. He had thought he could restrain himself, but he had not anticipated that he ultimately would not. He spoke, "It won't happen again."
Lin Jingyun set down the teacup in his hand. The clear tea poured from the teapot into the cup, splashing a few droplets. Lin Jinfang picked up the cup in front of him and gently took a sip, the fragrance of the tea lingering in his mouth.
"Is Liu Man still unwilling to change her statement?" Lin Jinfang asked, putting down his cup.
"We'll always find a way to make her change her statement," Lin Jingyun said leisurely, savoring the tea in front of him with an air of elegance.
"We must make her change it before she goes to court," Lin Jinfang tapped his fingers on the table as he spoke.
