At last, the day arrived; the sky had been overcast all day. Starting from the afternoon, two men unexpectedly took their posts outside Suxin's room door, following her everywhere she went, never leaving her side, except for one place she was strictly forbidden to enter — the area where Arthur conducted his daily business.
Suxin was also very quiet, no longer making any fuss. She knew the men stationed in front of Arthur's office were just for show; Arthur had probably left the place long ago.
The day passed extremely slowly, Suxin had her dinner early and returned to her room. Watching the second hand on her watch, her heart raced, feeling increasingly uneasy.
"I need to find my brother!" Suxin glanced at the darkening sky. Due to the bad weather, it had already darkened outside, void of moon and stars, everything outside appeared hazy.
