Lu Zheng followed a man called Rock as the guide led them to a vast area of single-story houses outside the city proper.
The area had numerous interconnected alleys, and with their guide leading, they twisted and turned until they stopped in front of a house with its door wide open.
The short figure who was leading them pointed at the house and whispered, "Big brothers, this is the place! They are inside drinking!"
Rock ordered him coldly, "You stay outside the door!"
"Okay!" the short figure quickly retreated to the side.
Lu Zheng proceeded through the main gate with Rock, striding swiftly inside.
As they approached the house, they could hear noisy voices inside.
Entering the house, they saw a kitchen blackened by smoke. They walked past a stove and entered through a door on the left to see a kang bed with a table on it.
Three men were seated around the table, their faces oily from food and flushed from drinking.
