Conrad muttered to himself as he splashed a handful of cold water onto his face. The coolness helped to calm his nerves, if only slightly, but it still soothed the chaos buzzing in his mind.
He twisted the tap off and leaned on the sink, staring at his reflection in the cracked mirror.
That wasn't his doing, he found it like that. He knew better than to mindlessly destroy private property. That time in the library was still fresh in his memory.
Currently, he was in one of the academy's many bathrooms. There was nothing to write home about, it just looked like your average school bathroom, nothing about it really stood out to him.
