Chapter 5 - Not a good morning

Meesha awakens from a bizarre dream. The light in the room is on. As she tosses around, she finds Tim reading a book.

Meesha looks at Tim in a daze, admiring his appearance, "Aww! Glasses suit him well. I wonder if I could have seen him up close, reading a book and wearing glasses."

Meesha asks, putting her arms beneath her head, "What are you reading at this time?"

In her sleep, Meesha forgets that this isn't her ordinary life. Suddenly, she's Tim's wife, lying beside him—yet she remains oblivious. To her, it's just another dream..

Tim lifts his head and shows her the book's cover page. She looks shocked when she sees the book's title.

"Haa! Wild Species. What a weird taste you have!" exclaims Meesha yawning.

Thinking, "It was she who gifted it to me on my birthday," her response takes Tim aback. He ignores it and continues reading.

Meesha drifts back to sleep, but suddenly, Tim hears her murmur something intriguing. He leans in closer and catches her whispering, "Did you really marry me?"

"To love and marry you are the only selfish things I have ever done for myself," he says, running his fingers through her hair. He removes his glasses and then turns off the light to fall asleep.

The next morning, Meesha wakes up early and notices Tim, who is still deep asleep. She avoids waking him up and rushes to the bathroom.

Meesha has decided to figure out things that are happening lately. She cannot go on like this. She has a mission for today: to learn about her in-laws and what has happened over the last four years.

The first challenge in her mission is determining how she would learn about her in-laws and who would tell her without questioning her.

"Oh! There is someone who can help me. Omo! How can I be so smart," Meesha pats her own shoulder, praising herself for being so intelligent.

She searches the internet for information about her in-laws. While she was busy writing down everything she learned about her family, Tim knocked on the balcony door. Meesha leaps up onto the chair.

"Hey! Meesha cries out in fear, "You scared me!"

Tim asks, "What are you writing early in the morning? Don't you need food? Come on! Have breakfast." Tim leaves.

Meesha is on the stairs when she notices everyone waiting for her at the breakfast table. Although she is familiar with Tim's father, she is not familiar with the young boy seated on the right. She starts rubbing her hands confused.

Her thoughts are wandering. She cannot think of anything. Finally, "Could he be Tim's brother? Meesha thinks as she walks down the stairs, "What was his name?"

"Ah! Forget it," Meesha concludes.

Meesha greets everyone and settles down beside Tim. Everyone at the table is glancing at her. They knew Meesha was furious about what happened at the party, but she appeared indifferent.

Tim's mother asks Meesha to eat more. She needs to take care of her health. With a smile, Meesha grabs a piece of kiwi. She bites into the fruit without realizing what it is.

"Oh! "She is eating kiwi," says Yim, Tim's younger brother, pointing to Meesha.

Meesha pauses her chewing and looks at the others, puzzled. In an instant, they were all yelling at her to spit it out. Meesha is dumbfounded.

Tim gets out of his chair and holds Meesha's mouth, asking her to spit it out. She blinks, then spits it out.

"Get her medicine," Tim yells. The housekeeper is looking for it in the kitchen but has not found it. "It is in the first cabinet, dammit," Tim yells furiously.

Everyone in the house is helping to look for the medicine, except Tim, who is clutching Meesha tightly. Tim's face paled instantly when he found out she had eaten kiwi. Meesha, allergic to kiwis, was completely unaware of the danger.

When she came over to Tim's house to meet his parents, they learned for the first time that she is allergic to kiwis. It is a common fruit in the household. She had never tried it before in her life and ate it out of curiosity.

Tim barely saved her during that time and never allowed Meesha to touch kiwis again.

Tim gives her medicine. Her gaze is fixed on Tim's face. He could not breathe until he gave her the medication.

"Y-you..," Tim sighs..." you alright? Nothing's wrong with you, right?" Tim asks in a trembling voice while hugging Meesha tightly.

Meesha tells Tim to calm down. She is perfectly fine. Tim rushes upstairs in rage upon hearing her.
