Under the dim light of the moon, the entire Kingdom of Luntian was silent, the river's waves calmly lapping at the shores, while the air carried the fragrance of flowers from the forest. But the silence was abruptly broken by the sound of hurried footsteps and fierce shouts that reached the Elves' ears.
In the midst of the chaos, a large and fierce figure walked towards the grand marble door of the palace. This was Damos, the Goblin Lord, the nightmare of every being in Biringan.
"Time to erase the Elves!!!" Damos shouted, his eyes full of malice. "Burn everything, destroy their homes, and kill anyone who stands in our way!" he added, wielding his powerful chain.
In an instant, chaos erupted. The goblins swiftly attacked the Elves' homes, destroying everything in their path.
A goblin wielding an axe approached an old Elf woman who was defenseless. Without hesitation, he swung the axe at the old woman's neck, severing it in one brutal move. Blood splattered on the ground, and the old woman's body fell in front of her family, now trembling with fear. The goblin then beheaded each family member one by one.
As the attack continued, the goblins spread fire throughout the town. Homes that were once filled with joy were now burning, the flames consuming the memories of happier times. A young Elf sobbed as he clutched the body of his deceased mother. Before he could finish crying, a goblin approached and mercilessly dragged him away from his mother's body, throwing him into the raging fire.
Inside the palace, Queen Hania and King Niro gathered their Elf warriors, hoping to find a way to fend off the enemy. But before they could devise a plan, the Goblin Lord shattered the grand palace doors with his mighty chain.
"Cowardly Elves, you have no place in this world!" he yelled as he stepped inside.
The palace warriors tried to fight back, but they couldn't even get close before being struck down by Damos's sharp chain, their limbs severed like meat. One by one, their bodies fell, blood covering the marble floor.
In the palace chamber, the sound of falling bodies and the smell of blood weighed heavily in the air. Queen Hania and King Niro exchanged a determined glance despite the horrific scene around them. "It's time to show him the true power of Luntian," said Queen Hania, her eyes blazing with anger.
King Niro agreed. "We will not succumb to such evil."
Damos, with a mocking smile on his face, stepped towards the throne. "This is your end."
But before Damos could approach, Queen Hania raised her hand and began chanting an ancient incantation.
"Luminescenta Ignis!" She shouted.
Suddenly, the surroundings were engulfed in bright flames, wrapping around Damos's body. But the Goblin Lord only smiled, brushing off the fire as if it had no effect on him. While Damos was busy dispelling the flames, King Niro drew his sword, glowing with a blue light. "Don't be complacent, Damos!"
"Slasher!" King Niro shouted.
A powerful gust of wind burst from his sword, striking Damos and throwing him back several meters. But Damos quickly got up, laughing wickedly.
"Fools! No one can defeat me!" Damos retorted.
In the midst of the battle, Queen Hania and King Niro joined hands, combining their powers. Their eyes shone brightly, signaling a higher form of magic. "In the name of Luntian, we will not let you succeed!" they shouted together.
"Celestial Storm!" they chanted in unison.
From their hands emerged a massive tornado accompanied by lightning, striking Damos with full force. The surroundings were enveloped in black light, and the wind howled with the power of the energy. Amidst the chaos, the Elves saw Damos's body outside the palace darkening and turning to ash. But before he completely vanished, a grin appeared on his lips.
"This is not the end, Queen Hania... King Niro...," Damos whispered.
The Elves' cries echoed around as Damos's cruel laughter resounded in the air. The King and Queen leaped from the palace heights to witness the Goblin Lord's disappearance, but upon reaching the ground, a cruel chain wrapped around their bodies.
"Watch your King and Queen burn alive," Damos said, suddenly appearing in front of the Elves. He pulled the chain, forcing the rulers of Luntian to kneel before their subjects.
At the edge of the scene, a young elf girl with silver hair, Hanan, the twelve-year-old daughter of the King and Queen, cried while holding her newborn sibling, Bruwa. Hanan's eyes couldn't believe the brutal scene unfolding before her.
"No... please!" She whispered, her voice trembling with fear. But Damos showed no mercy, and in an instant, he unleashed a great fire from his hand.
In their final moments, Queen Hania and King Niro looked at each other, filled with love and hope that their sacrifice would inspire their people.
"We love you, Hanan... Bruwa," Queen Hania whispered before the flames consumed them.
Their screams echoed around, filling all of Luntian with sorrow and grief. The smell of burning flesh mixed with the air as Hanan's tears fell down her cheeks, forever haunted by the horrific scene.
The remaining Elves wept as they watched their leaders burn alive, their hearts filled with hatred and sadness.
Hanan, with a new purpose in her heart, tightly embraced her sibling Bruwa, her eyes full of a vow for revenge. "We will return here, Bruwa. I promise, I will avenge Mother and Father," she whispered, her voice filled with determination and anger.
"We have no hope left, the King and Queen are dead... The goblins will surely do the same to us," a worried Elf said.
Damos approached the young Elf, his eyes blazing with malice. "There is a way for you not to meet the same fate as those two," he said, his voice deep and full of spite. "You will become slaves of the goblins. You will follow every order we give. Anyone who attempts to defy will be killed in front of everyone."
The Elves were forced to accept Damos's cruel condition. Their freedom vanished, and their hearts were gripped with fear. The once joyful kingdom of Luntian became a place of sorrow and enslavement.
The next day, Damos gathered the Elves in the burned palace to choose his bride.
"Silence!" ordered a Goblin beside Damos.
Immediately, everyone fell silent as Damos began to choose his bride. His eyes landed on Hanan, who was holding the infant Bruwa. "Come forward!" Damos commanded, pointing at Hanan.
Before Hanan could step forward, an Elf shout echoed through the air, "Dungeon Unleashed!" It was King Niro's big sister, Ms. Vice.
Legendary Dungeon Bosses immediately emerged in the air and charged at the goblins. As the battle between the goblins and dungeon monsters began, the Elves found an opportunity to escape the chaos. The enemies were preoccupied with facing the threatening forces from the dungeons' depths. The air was filled with cries of anger and fear as the goblins were gradually overwhelmed by the dungeon monsters.
Amidst the chaos, Hanan, still holding the infant Bruwa, ran with the other Elves towards a secret tunnel long built by their ancestors for such an escape.
"Let's hurry! We can't stay here long!" Hanan shouted, her eyes full of determination. Her feet barely touched the ground as she ran swiftly.
Despite the exhaustion and fear, the Elves continued their escape. When they reached the tunnel, they quickly sealed the door using the mana of Narda Stone to protect themselves from the pursuing goblins.
"At least we're still alive," said Ms. Vice inside the tunnel. "But our struggle doesn't end here. We must prepare to reclaim Luntian."
The remaining Elves gathered inside the tunnel. Each one of them held back their tears as they remembered their loved ones lost in the battle. Hanan, still holding Bruwa, approached Ms. Vice.
"Auntie, what do we do now?" she asked, her voice full of a promise for revenge.
Ms. Vice looked at her, her eyes heavy with sorrow. "We need to strengthen ourselves, Princess. We will return when the time is right to reclaim our kingdom."
"I am ready to do anything," Hanan replied, her eyes filled with the fire of revenge. "I will wipe out the goblins when my power awakens."
