The entire competition is much simpler than the United States Golden Gloves Tournament, and it seemed fairly informal during the matches, with boxers and referees in casual clothes, no scoreboards, no recordings, all depending on the judges' eyes to score, no mouthguards, competitors could fight unprotected.... So many issues.
The reason for these problems isn't complicated.
The boxing industry in the United States is a profitable chain, with huge market potential, so there is capital willing to invest.
Whereas boxing in China is a niche sport, without a complete industrial chain, little profit, so there's no capital sponsorship, relying solely on state and organizational funding, holding large events when there's money, and small ones or none when there's none.
It's understandable that the venue and equipment are a bit lacking.
